Evaluation needed at end of season:
1. Who scouted Barry and who endorsed the buy. Who is noticing that our scouting has been lousy for longer than I care to remember?
2. What was the plan for Aznou who might be half decent but we have barely seen him and in Myelenko. It is not as if he had tough opposition to get the shirt. What is the plan for Dibling if Moyes is going to buy Grealish? We made out a big cheque.
3. Can anyone among the management make a good case for the outlay of money last summer instilling confidence that the next transfer window will show how savvy we are?
4. Does no one on the backroom staff have enough courage to tell Moyes that a back 4 which has not worked for a while, is not likely to suddenly prosper?
5. Pattison. What has he done so wrong to not even get a shout under Dyche or Moyes? He may not be top notch, but did he not merit a try instead of making O'Brien look bad by continuing to play him out of position?
6. What do Moyes favourites have to do to be dropped?
7. Why is he so scared to go for it? Nothing to lose and everything to gain.
And still a lack of ambition and willingness to throw the dice.
8. Sorry to go on, but why keep making substitutes too late when the game has already been lost?
9. Does the boss understand how completely frustrated fans are with his stubborn tactics?
10. Do the Friedkins wait till Christmas? Probably, but the chance to pinch one of two successful Premier League managers leaving their clubs will disappear soon.
I write this as somoene who supported the return of Moyes. And was glad for the stability he brought. But those same doubts and irritations that arose when we played the big teams in his first tenure with us. A real lack of ambition to go a win a game. Have well and truly resurfaced. And I would definitely be against TFG offering him a new contract.
New great stadium. Hopes raised then needlessly dashed in a season where many teams were bang average. If Utd made the Champions League, showed it was not a year for a standout top 5 or 6. Let the evaluation reflect how far we have supposedly truly come in getting Everton back to where we should be.
{Ed025's Note - all good points Oscar..

Because this is what Moyes has always been like, he just had more "success" in his previous tenure because we had some really good players and the league overall had less quality.
Nothing will change because the mentality of the club from the players to the board is that of losers. We are happy to just survive, we do not want to prosper.

Utd under Carrick have turned out to be a very good side, deserved to finish where they did. As for us, got our 46 points, then collapsed. Same players got the next 3 pts out of 18. This is the Premier League. Teams are not bang average, most of us at the height of our fitness and skills would be walking corpses after 20 minutes. Been at the top table since 54, it isn't a right, it has been earned.
You do not have a loser mentality to last this long. August comes and it starts again come September, I will no doubt be staggering in, soggy takeaway in hand, next day deaf and dumb, breakfast ready for my 51st year of marriage. This woman has been blown up, shot at and yet the worst thing ever to happen to her was me and this f****** Team. Hols.
