I wonder if TFG will wait the result of the Crystal Palace final on Wednesday. If he wins, then Glasner is a certainty in my opinion to replace Moyes.

Nope. Moyes is expected to stay another season regardless.

So sad when Armstrong, Alcaraz and George came on, their first thought was to move the ball forward and attack. Shows just what could have been.
Playing Barry showed Moyes has run out of ideas. Time to pension him off and bring in a manager that has more than one tactic.

Why would he come to us after putting together a squad that won the FA Cup and then possibly a European trophy? Honestly, some of you live in another world!
Moyes was always going to be at least a 2 year project. The board aren't going to bow down to fans who don't even know what they actually want!

25 May 2026 03:29:15
Well I'm glad I'm not in your world, bp, bowing down and accepting crap for another year.

25 May 2026 03:35:15
You do know Glasner is already confined to be leaving Palace at the end of the season right?

Swear the super positive blues don't actually pay attention.

25 May 2026 04:58:46
Bp is just stating the truth and that world is the reality.

Glasner went to Palace, who would have thought that. He's now leaving Palace because they don't have the money to match his ambition, and sell their best players.
So, if we really want to spend big then there is every reason to assume that he would join us if we went for him.

The club's ambition needs to be greater than some of its supporters, otherwise we are not going to progress.

25 May 2026 10:03:25
Yes, Swan, that is common knowledge. My point is that he will be looking up, not down, as his stock is as high as it has ever been. I'd imagine that he would want to try his hand at a club that offers him a crack at a European competition.

Nick, who is bowing down? The only thing I'm accepting is, as Dms says, reality. I get that some of you despise Moyes; there was a lot that didn't want him back from the start.

Some of us are of the opinion that he has the support of the board and will be given next season to move things on. It was always going to take a few windows to sort out the squad, as, I'm sure that most agree, it is simply not good enough to win the trophies that most of us crave. I don't believe the board are looking to change managers this summer. That is just my opinion, but it is based in reality at this moment in time.

25 May 2026 10:39:49
I get what you are saying, Bp. Question to you, if we could persuade, say, Glasner to join, would you be happy with that appointment? I don't dislike Moyes at all and wasn't disappointed when he came in, but I'm in the Moyes out camp now.

With all due respect, Witty, I'm not getting into who should be the manager until we have a vacancy, as it seems pointless and is causing arguments between most of the people who post here. These pages have been filled with contempt for others that have the audacity to point out the obvious, or have a differing opinion to some.
