Selling or loaning Dibling - as well as likely selling Barry and Alcaraz - mayb Azunu too would be a great indictment of our recruitment team.
Need to start making some of our transfers hits rather than flops.

Dibling, Alcaraz and Aznou have hardly had a look in and are often brought on when the game has gone. Yet you see them as flops?
Experts everywhere these days.

Sobs, I have no doubt that Dibbling is great in training, but I watched him all last season at home, just ran into trouble or turned back. Moyes was supposed to give him an intense pre-season, that has not materialised.

All last season? He hardly played, and on the odd occasion he did get on, he was stuck on the wing (not his best position) with zero support from the full back. But hey, let's just sell them all, I mean, if there sitting on the bench, then they must be rubbish, right?

All last season 'when he played'. I'm off. Just miserable on here.
06 Aug 2026 11:28:16
He played 349 minutes f***.
4 mins against Liverpool away.
9 mins against West Ham.
45 mins against Palace (our worst first half performance I have seen for a long time - by All players) .
4 mins v City away 2-0 down.
10 mins v Newcastle 4-1 down.
4 mins v Forest.
6 mins v Chelsea away 2-0 down.
Then he gets these games without the likes of JB, Gueye, Ndiaye and KDH in the team. Instead having O'Brien behind him, Tim, Charlie, McNeil and Beto around him.
15 mins v Arsenal.
88 mins v Burnley.
90 mins v Forest.
45 mins v Brentford.
19 mins v Leeds (we score 5 mins after him coming on) .
10 mins v Brighton (we score 10 mins after him coming on) .
1 min v Burnley.
If you fans want to have the opinion that he is not good enough from what they have seen, that is absolutely fine and everyone is entitled to their opinion but expecting a young attacking 19 year old to perform when the type of player he is thrives off rhythm, repetition and confidence, is absolutely criminal.
Of his 14 "games", he was given 10 minutes or less on 8 occasions. He played 45 minutes or more consecutively just 3 times in an entire season. Of the games where he did get a decent chunk of minutes, the results were WDWLD.

I agree with you, Bluenose, well put over.

He hardly got a look in last season, as BN points out, so it is very hard to cast judgement on the lad. Hopefully he is more settled up North and he can kick on from here.
Pre-season will be intense for every player, and TD has been included, so not too sure why you think it hasn't materialised.
He looks happier these days than when he first arrived, so fingers crossed that's a good indication of where his heads at right now.

Wow, good stuff BN, mate.
06 Aug 2026 12:56:57
It's a sorry state of affairs when Dibling's minutes/appearances were so limited as stated by BN, yet Barry, who we all know is a world beater, appeared in every single game last season, either as a starter or as a sub.
The mind boggles.
06 Aug 2026 17:44:19
BN, I am going to cut and paste that and use it as a standard reply on other sites if that's ok. Absolutely spot on.
06 Aug 2026 18:07:54
Fire away, mate!
I get he might not be everyone's cup of tea, but the amount of s*** the lad gets is a disgrace, given the little time he has had on the pitch. Had he played 10-15 games with our better players, I could understand it.
I have never wanted a player to succeed so much since Naismith.

Top posts BlueNose. Totally agree on Dibling, jury is out. I could not say whether he is a dud or a world beater, as he hasn't had much game time, as you indicated, as all have said, the lack of a right back worries me, though.
Re the likes of Dibling and Anzou, maybe they will be properly integrated into the 1st team and get more game time. Pre season and a lot of gloom on here. Let's see where we are at come end of November.
