I've watched the highlights few times now and still can't believe Moyes sees a player in Beto. The lad has no control and zero anticipation skills. A top striker will maybe get three or four good chances in a game and put away one or two. This lad had that and more and wasted every one. That has to have an effect on the rest of the team.
Moyes should be looking to get rid asap. We can't go into the new season with the same Beto/Barry routine of swapping them around and getting the same results.
The game yesterday could have been so different had we had a decent striker. And my worry now is if this continues then what little confidence the team has will be gone, and it will be another season of hoofball and frantic defending.
The saying the best ground in the Championship still worries me.

Can't believe Moyes, (can't believe I started to type Dyche! but there's little difference really) , sees a player in either of them. Fair enough he inherited Beto, but he signed Barry.
We know how long we've needed a Right Back for, but it's been obvious that we've needed 2 Strikers since the start of last season.
To not have addressed these positions is criminal.
Moyes will probably cite no European football as the reason things haven't been addressed, but his ineptitude is the reason we didn't achieve our European goal last season, so this is totally self inflicted.

To be fair, Moyes can only use the s*** he's got up front, choosing from one striker who can't finish to another who is also crap. We'd be better off sticking Kean up there, so at least he is away from the back 4.

Agree, he can only select from what he's got, and Keane shouldn't be anywhere near the back four, but Moyes did sign Barry last year when it was obvious he was crap and his pursuit of Delap doesn't fill me with confidence.
Less than 2 weeks to go and things have to improve.
