We need to be getting more than 15m for Tim imo, especially with the market the way it is.
He has only just turned 23 and has over 50 PL games under his belt now.
Hull have a load of money to spend. We need to start operating like most clubs do and stop giving our players away for f*** all.

Defo, if Spurs want over £35 million for Romero, the biggest and dirtiest con man around, then Tim has to be over £20 million. We don't need to give away players at daft prices, mate.

Know it was a convoluted deal with Villa, but what does he owe us financially? Sure. Worth £20 plus add ons. My only thought is an injury, and we are short a proper defensive mid. Is he really worth bombing out? I like him and think in 3 or 4 years this could prove a big error. He does deserve to play though.

Guys, got one year left on his contract, that is why they have offered 15m. I believe that is a fair price given the lad can go for nothing next season. So, either offer him a new contract or sell him now.

I would have Norgaard playing over Tim every week, FBS and Garner and Hackney offer more in the 6 as well, even if they are better further forward.
Tim is a physical beast, but he is not a good footballer and every time he wins the ball back, he gives it away in the next decision.
I know what you are saying, Brass, but the amount of teams that still charge hefty prices with players that are in the last year is common nowadays.
By all accounts, the Hull manager really wants him and they have loads of money to spend.
I am just saying that we should not be selling him without driving the price up a bit. We could definitely get more than 15m for the lad if they want him that badly.

Last year off his contract. We got him for something like £10 mill. £15 to £20 mill would be good, but also a pity in my view as I rate him.

We should set the price, and for a youthful player, we don't need to sell (though would be nice to have a kitty to get a Rb) . Why shouldn't we be asking above £15m? We've been held to ransom many times in the past - I'd be disappointed if we caved so easily and offloaded cheaply unless we have to for Scr.
It does make Norgaard seem a steal though at £7m.

Unless we need the money (which I would hope is less of an issue this season) , we could always loan Tim out to Hull..
