To be fair to Kinnear, he does explain why in the interview, Dev. By the sounds of things, though, we're likely to be doing most of our dealings in the next week and a bit.

Takes longer than a season to put right the financial wrongdoings of the past. Whatever we do put in place also needs to be sustainable. Or, as some fans seem to want/think, we could just pi** it all up the wall and be a Leicester or similar.

Blue_dev, do you not understand that we can't just go and splurge on players like clubs have in the past? If that could happen then the likes of Newcastle would have done it too as they are pretty much one of the richest clubs in the world with their owners!
It has been said many times that our new stadium will be a game changer for us, but it doesn't happen overnight.
Some of our fans really are deluded!
