Haven't been on the site in a while as the negativity really fries my head at times. Although the end of last season was disappointing I believe the injuries to Branthwaite and Grealish played a big part in this as well as the likes of Ndiaye and KDH losing form maybe due to fatigue due to lack of squad rotation because of lack of quality in the bench.
So to the season ahead, I am optimistic that with another couple of signings, especially a right back, we will have a good season.
With a lot of the teams in an around us e.g. Fulham, Forest, Palace, Newcastle losing managers and/or players and some of them also having European campaigns I think some of these teams will struggle. Watching some of the pre season we now have options on the bench to change things. The one prediction I will make that I may be slated for us that Barry will get 15 or more goals this season if he gets a run in the team. I will check back in around Christmas to say I told you so or eat humble pie.

We had those options on the bench end of last season, but Moyes chose not to use them. Hopefully, he has learnt from that and uses his subs more efficiently this season.

Alcaraz can play KDH's role but Moyes didn't play him.

Good to hear from you, Sticky. I'm with you on the coming season, it will be a good one. We will have a few more additions before Sept. It's looking on the up, mate.
