I know some think our season and club has imploded with lack signings. But let's be happy we haven't experienced a Villa or Newcastle. Those two teams have had their best players sold, even though they have had recent success.
Villa:
Tielmans
Rodgers
Watkins - likely.
Konsa - done.
GK maybe.
Newcastle:
Isak last year
Gordon
Bruno
Tonai
So far we've held on to prime assets. That said, do we need to sell before buying again?
I think we will surprise this year.

My sentiments exactly.
On a similar note, has anyone read McNulty's season predictions on BBC? I should not let it bother me because his predictions are always pants anyway, but take a look.
I could not help responding in the comments in a similar vain to Bunkbeds.
McNulty had us finishing 13th! and had the following teams above us:
Spurs
Forest
Palace
Newcastle
He also had Brentford and Brighton above us, but they are harder to argue with, although I think we will be pushing them, and, in my opinion, have the ability to surpass them.
We just need that consistency.
I just wish I would not take the McNulty bait!.. But I just can't help jumping to the defence of my beloved Blues!

I don't mind making these kind of predictions in the pub around the table with everyone chipping in.
But, if I had a voice like on line journos then I'd stay well clear. There is no way you'll come out looking good on stuff like that. Just like this buffoon. ?

Or is more concerning nobody wants our players - I think we will have decent season - need a couple of our recent signings to be a hit though - looking at Hackney / Dibling / George / Alcaraz - all cost us good money so hopefully they get us playing exciting football on the front foot.
I fear for George not getting overlaps from Miko and setting Dibling up to fail having to overlapping full back.
But a couple of signings could change all that
Hoping Barry somehow keeps pre season goal scoring up (have serious doubts though but hoping)
