There is a really good article in talksport about the PSR rules and the top six, saying how we were docked 8 points and nearly relegated and yet Chelsea get hit with a £10 5 million pond fine and a transfer freeze that will probably never happen and then there's City who have 100 or so charges at their hearing which was concluded 21 months ago and we are still no nearer hearing the outcome, it looks to me as we will never get to the so called top teams it's a closed shop for the rich, what's your take Ed mate, as a final note Newcastle and Villa have had to sell players to comply it seems all one side in favour of the favoured Teams

Not just 8 pts, but later £35 mill (contested, appealed) by the same board awarded to Burnley under the same charge already punished. So, out of order, I am genuinely surprised the Prem have not been taken to the High Court. My son (accountant) even said dubious.

The Premier League was hailed as the modern day saviour of English football due to it struggling to recover from the Euro ban. Everyone was on board, and the results were very impressive to start with. Then the Champions League added its dollar.
Combine the both, and you have a bastion of greed and corruption. The football I loved back in the day of Grandstand, running home to catch the pools and checking Ceefax for the scores, is long gone now.
