Good result, a draw at Bournemouth, which shows how low we have fallen as a once top team, but still a good result and good subs, so well done Moyes. But it just feels like it's papering over the cracks, we need at least a RB, LB, CD and two attackers or the season will be just like last season, and I can't see us getting 5 players.

Spot on for me, Skylark.

Mate, we are no longer a top team, we only tread water year after year, sad but true, we've been bypassed by Bournemouth, Brighton and the rest. Top teams compete within 30 years.

I think we played really well for 60 minutes and that the subs actually killed us. Johnson + Beto don't get involved in the build up at all, as a poor on the ball. we lost a lot without Barry and George in my opinion. I know Barry misses chances today, but I think 2 of them are excellent saves, other is poor, but he finds the positions.
I'd sell Beto in a heartbeat, not sure how he's got another season in the Prem.
However, we should have had 3/4 goals by then and probably a penalty. I think the signs are positive, but we must keep our players and we definitely do need that Right Back like you said.

One key difference for me is that we are creating a decent amount of good chances so far this season - on that basis, things will be different this season.
But without an improvement at the back, and someone more clinical up front, we could still languish in mid table.
Get someone who can put the chances away more regularly, and it could be a very good season.

Good result but a poor performance. Still need a striker and two full backs. Don't get them, and eventually our luck will run out.

Happy we got the draw, but think we did enough to win the game. Had better chances in my opinion.
I like the look of the team but imagine what we can do with a better striker. ?
Please don't sell our best players and get in the positions we need!

We would have won that easily if Barry knew where the goal is and had a striker's awareness of where the ball might go.
We desperately need a proper finisher, but until we do I'd put George up top and leave Bill & Ben off the bus!

It's a ground that we haven't had much joy in over the last 8 years or so. As others have said, if we had a forward that could finish his dinner, not just open goals, then it might have been a different outcome.
Finishing our chances takes pressure off our defence, but we haven't been able to do that for the last year or so. I'll take a point all day today. 4 out of 6 isn't a bad start, really.

Again, comments unrealistic. A lot of the best in the league struggle at Bournemouth, it's never been a happy hunting ground for us. Take the point, be positive, have a beer and move on.
