Sorry state of affairs when a team like Everton is left in this position. I feel sorry for us fans. This isn’t right. We shouldn’t be reading comments from other supporters about counting on some kid to save us upfront. That’s not right. We deserve better. It’s not fair on us. We should be looking forward to the season with excitement and the best we can hope for is that a kid coming through will be the next Michael Owen.

It’s not going to happen. I feel sorry for us supporters. I really do. It’s like watching your Neighbours buy a brand new BMW and you can only afford a KIA 10 years old. It’s just not right. It’s embarrassing. I feel like the kid in school with no lunch money watching everyone around me stuff their faces with cake.

{Ed025's Note - the worst thing is Dino that other supporters feel sorry for us, we should never be a charity case mate..

Maybe we should all get buckets and stand outside the stadium on Sunday and do a whip round, not for the poor kids in Africa, but for our poor club. Anything we lift we hand to the club to go towards January's transfers.

{Ed025's Note - good idea Dino, we could call it "Evertonaid" and get Bob Geldof and Midge Ure in Everton shirts for the promo mate.. :)

I've pals down here who support all sorts and I've not had so many footy messages for many, many years. Mostly not even pi99 taking (though obviously a fair amount) , but genuine Wtf is your club doing? messages. It's been mind blowing, more even than the points deduction week, how this has pricked the interest of neutral fans.

{Ed025's Note - it really has FBS, we are a charity case now mate.. :)

We start a go fund me page to buy our club off these dodgy buggers.

With the best will in the world, we could not raise the billion plus that the TFG would demand.
However, at the time of the takeover, there was, to the best of my recall, a group of wealthy Evertonions who were interested.

If they still have the same wish to buy the club, they, along with well-funded supporter groups, might have a chance to mount a buy-out proposal.
