Yes, Foden had to go, but how on earth did Fernandes not even get a caution for a blatant kick on Foden.

Fernandes is one of the most dirty footballers, he kicked Foden to start with, surely VAR should be used and he gets banned for 10 matches.

Loved how City scored, apparently, Enzo wasn't going for the ball with that diving header, shocking decisions this weekend.

Welcome back dms, I have missed you.

Just get rid of VAR. It's caused more controversy since being introduced. It also highlights how poor refereeing is, as now instead of one guy getting it wrong, you get 3 others as well. On top of it, though, the rules just make things so much more complicated, unnecessarily.

It's as much the constant change of rules as VAR itself. No one knows what a handball or an offside is any more.

Fernandez spends more time in the ref's ear than actually playing. Which is a shame because he's actually a very good footballer but with a rotten attitude.

I have a certain amount of sympathy for the ref. TV showed 5 things he has to assess for offside goals, and has about 5 seconds to do it from the angle he sees it from. VAR, on the other hand, spends 3 minutes with 3 operators and a dozen camera angles, and still regularly cock it up.

VAR isn't the problem, it's the clowns that run it.

It was offside. Lino flagged. No clear and obvious mistake made. Stay out of it.

What actually happened was a farce. Stupid decision.

Use the foot to show offside, not the arm, nose, eyelash, etc.

Overturn clear mistakes or anything missed.
Give the goal unless Lino flags, then quickly check it.
Val upon it if the Ref requests it when unsure of a decision.
