I was listening to Baz's Coffee w/ a Toffee and talking about the league and how it benefits the few at the top. I can't help but think the league should follow a similar set up to American leagues with wage and salary caps. Winning means the players get bonuses, but it doesn't give additional revenue to the actual team.
To me that makes way more sense and when you look at how many different teams have won, I think it would really benefit the fan experience. Obviously, keep the promotion system and avoid "Americanizing" the game, but I do think it could increase competition across the board. Just a thought.

Everyone should be able to spend what they want as long as it's not debt on the club if someone rich wants to buy a club and put their own money in they should be allowed to do so as long as it's their money they are spending. If it goes belly up the club is still there rich man loses his money instead of club going into administration.
Any other business anyone can buy and spend what they want why should football be any different. You should only be allowed to borrow a certain amount on the clubs name once that is maxed out it must be the owners own personal money spent that is spent.

We need an even playing field for all teams or one of the top 6 will continue to win,
