My fellow evertonians I have a horrible feeling than moyes being a pragmatist and apparently Jack Harrison being offered for about 7 million I could see moyes dancing getting him back on a permanent basis please someone anyone tell me this is just a nightmare and night sweats ? ? ? ? ????????.
{Ed025's Note - i have spent a lot of time in church praying that it doesn,t happen TB, if it does i want Moyes out and im serious mate..

I think that would show absolutely zero ambition and cause irreparable damage to the trust that the fanbase has placed in Moyes.
{Ed025's Note - it would be the start of his demise for me SB, Harrison would be a step backwards mate and not what we need or expected..

I don’t get the hatred. Yea I get he isn’t class but the lad gives his all and if you look at his ball carries last season he is up there with the likes of palmer etc. no doubt his final ball needs work but as a squad player I really don’t see the issue? We obviously haven’t got any decent kids coming through if we did we would know about them. As long as not first choice and the price is right I am happy with him and he knows the team so no bedding in. Win win.
{Ed025's Note - win win Chris?, he is bloody awful mate and i really cant think of a worse signing, no end product, gives the ball away constantly, cant tackle and cant shoot...last season 30 games...0 goals..1 assist tells you all you need to know, lose lose in my book but of course you are entitled to your opinion..

He could carry the ball 10 times more often than Palmer, Chris, but there’d still never be an outcome. He’s just not good enough to play for or improve us. I don’t think anyone doubts the lads effort. The money has to be spent elsewhere.

Tom fellows available for not much more, he’d be my pick. I’m sorry but Harrison just isn’t good enough, even as a backup squad player I’m not sure.

Leeds don't want him either!

Wasn’t he on something like £70-90k a week. that's far too much for a squad player.
Let’s hope this is all just lazy journalism.
{Ed025's Note - i certainly hope so BR..if not Moyes out..

I know you didn’t want him back in the first place Ed but for me ‘Moyes out’ is ridiculous for signing a single player. DM has blatantly improved us and that’s the first time we can say that about a manager since Carlo. Imo getting rid of him over signing a 7m player would be disastrous especially being he’d only ever be a squad player anyway. Game of opinions but with the transformation he made for us last season, making us so much better to watch I put my faith in him rebuilding the team for the new season ahead Harrison or no Harrison. Also the fact that this is another rumour (with that literally none have materialised so far) makes it even more farcical. We need numbers with not as much money as people may think. With that being said I don’t even believe a word of it mate, just another little story a reporter has made up. The worst thing we can do is get on the managers back AGAIN before the season has even started, surely to god. I don’t want JH back and I don’t know anyone who does but we have to get behind DM and the team and make a good start to the season.
{Ed025's Note - maybe i was a bit over the top Peter but i was so hoping that we would move on from signing journeymen players who just work hard mate, we need a bit of flair and players who can improve but Jack is none of the above and to shell out £7m on a donkey(no offence to donkeys) would be a kick in the teeth, that money would be better spent on a youngster from the lower leagues who can at least grow into the side and contribute even if its for the long haul, of course it may not happen (hopefully) and i will still be behind Davey and the boys..

Key passes 80th percentile, successful dribbles 75th, successful crosses 95th ed. My point is at less than £5m and much lower wages than reported Moyes might have something to work with as how much is down to him and how much down to our poor attack? Agree his tackling is almost non existent and we absolutely need better for a first 11, but in an age where we are paying £35m for a striker most of us have never heard of and scored 10 goals and got 1 assist, I don’t think it’s the end of the world. If I am wrong the money is nothing in today’s market anyway so no risk. I trust Moyes 100% whoever he signs.
{Ed025's Note - and thats fine if you think that Chris...we are all entitled to our opinions mate, for me i want players who will challenge for a place and bring something different to what we had, if we want a headless chicken who,s only attribute is that he can run...we might as well sign Usain Bolt.. :)

He was part of our poor attack. Fellows is by far a better player, and still has time to improve further. Harrison doesn’t and won’t.
{Ed025's Note - im with you BMD..

it was all part of a masterplan by everton and harrison, play rubbish, get sent back to leeds, then the price drops and everton sign him on the cheap :D :snigger:

We'd be better off playing Beto in that "fake RM" role Bent used to do than bringing Harrison back.
