Hey Ed do you think TFG will offer DM a new contract, surely TFG will have seen how close we got to European footy, will they support him for a couple of windows or will they look at Glasner, Pep or Iraola, three good managers who would all be available to take us forward, do you reckon they will stick with DM.

{Ed025's Note - i have heard nothing about us even being interested in changing our manager GB..unfortunately..

You don't really think Pep would join us do you, Gb?

19 May 2026 20:43:00
Never say say never mate. ??

{Ed025's Note - say never mate..

I think never would be a fairly safe bet here, GB. Would be delighted if Iriola came in. Can only see Moyes staying as the outcome though.

{Ed025's Note - me too JB..

Pep! It had to be Guernsey. Thanks, that made my day - never change, mate.

JB, my response wasn't to you on the Banter page regarding Pep. Just wanted to make you aware as the post is someway down the page now.

From The Bobbles article. TFG are *very* happy with Moyes and don't see a point in changing.

Which I assume means they looked at it and went "oh, no relegation threat this season? He must be doing great!"

Cheers, BN. Feeling everyone's pain at the moment, the last month has felt like a huge step backwards, hasn't it? I was fully prepared to support another season for Moyes, but it's been a pretty desperate watch.

Not sure how close we got, GB. We are 12th, which means there are eleven teams closer and only 8 below us. Our form over the last six games is relegation type, not anywhere near European football. Still, let's just keep ignoring the facts.

20 May 2026 14:33:30
I was referring to when we were higher up the table earlier when we were all ecstatic as to our position. Then it all went downhill, as for you saying ignoring the facts is like your post just plain daft mate.

20 May 2026 18:28:25
I'd love to see Pep have a go without it being the strongest team in the league. Barca, Bayern, then City. As the old saying goes, can he do it on a cold, rainy night at Stoke.

20 May 2026 19:09:45
Now that is football.

20 May 2026 20:05:23
Come on, GB, it doesn't matter a monkey's where we stood mid-term, it's the amount of points we have at the end of the season. Don't let's start calling posts daft, I could bring up a few of yours but I am too polite.
