At this time of year, speculation occupies the football back pages.
With that qualification, it is suggested that we will sell Beto, and keep Barry, Beto has his limitations, but is far more effective than Barry in every department, so, if we are going to bring in a striker, Beto should be our bench backup, and Barry should either be sold (at a great loss) or sent out on loan, if he gets a few goals in the Championship, we might then get some of his fee back in his sale.

Maybe we'll sell Beto for 7mill and buy Ellis Simms of Coventry for 28mill, then buy Issac Price of West From for 25mil.

I think there is also a financial reality - we probably could sell Beto, I'm not convinced we could sell Barry, and one of them has to go if bring in someone else.

Who is going to purchase either Beto or Barry? Beto has one year left on his contract and Barry has until 2029. I think that we are stuck with them for another season unless we give them away. Even then it will be difficult, especially with Barry. The only hope is that some foreign team has scouts as useless as ours.

Cut our losses, get rid of Barry. Don't care how we do it, he's one of several who have to move on pronto.

Teams would take Beto, can be effective in the right set up. Barry on the other hand.
