His defence was bloody awful. We were great to watch going forward, but the defence let us down time after time, and he didn't seem to be able to sort it out. Moshiri rolling up didn't help either.

Martinez was useless. The only reason he performed so well in his first season was because it was Moyes' team and the defensive instruction instilled in them. Once Martinez got his instructions across, we were terrible, if memory serves me correctly?

We used to complain how we kept conceding from set pieces, but he would never practise them. Phenomenal, if I remember.
