That is incorrect. Currently they are looking for minor investment which is linked to strategic investment. There is no indication whatsoever that it's a precursor for a full sale. So let's not get ahead of ourselves.
Yes, potentially it could change to full sale but it's very early days.
In my experience (25 years in the Finance Industry) , they will be moving towards a change to infrastructure, which includes fundamental internal changes to senior management, policies and procedures. That does not necessarily mean Moyes. I mean Executive and Operational Management.
We all know the current system is not fit for purpose. When Kinnear took over i discussed with my colleagues what a bad appointment it was, it's not rocket science but even at a basic level if he and his team were not good enough for Leeds then they are not good enough for Everton, simple. However in addition to that the rumour was TFG could not attract the calibre of Executive leadership they desired, why doesn't that surprise us! And therefore Kinnear was a compromise, the best of a bad group! TFG gambled therefore and lost!
At the end of the day TFG are a successful business operation in their own right, but that has not currently translated to our Team and they obviously have not given us the level of focus and backing that has been provided to Roma. But our fans need to understand that many people and players just don't find our beautiful club attractive. And sadly that's a fact of life. TFG therefore haven't been able to operate at the desired level to make a significant impact.
Don't for one minute think I'm defending TFG, far from it. I'd much prefer an owner such as Hull's or Sunderland's, who have a hands on proactive approach mixed with a bit of passion! After all - the 2 main shareholders of TFG haven't even attended a bloody game! But our fans need to get perspective, therefore I'm providing an experienced financial opinion, mixed with a splash of insider knowledge!
One final piece of education, without meaning to be condescending. People need to understand the majority of internal policies, procedures and Executive management has been delegated to the Executive Team. It is therefore Kinnear and his Team who determine what those policies, processes and procedures are within the club. Yes, TFG have some oversight, but they do not get involved in the details and instead delegate that control to Kinnear and his executives. The debacle from the other night lies at the feet of Kinnear and his Team therefore. They managed and controlled the processes, they were to blame for the way Balogun was allegedly treated, they manage the Medical Teams who undertook the assessment of Balogun and more importantly they managed the recruitment processes in the weeks and months leading up to deadline day. They ultimately left everything to the last minute!
Some of you may not want to hear it but TFG delegated the majority of decision making to Kinnear and in turn Kinnear delegated to his management teams. The simple fact is that it was very poorly managed by Kinnear and his Executive Team. TFG are now trying to sift through the crap and for the 100th time in Everton's history start again! Meanwhile us fans are left reeling and in disarray!
The conclusion? . Sadly we need an Executive and procedural overhaul. again. But this time not with the cast-offs from Teams we consider a
worse than us! And secondly we need strategic investment from someone who has a vested interest in our wonderful club. NSNO

Great comment, BB - and I think everything you've said is spot on. The owners aren't perfect, but, ultimately, they hired a team to do a job, and that team is incompetent. They need to deal with the situation (bin Kinnear) , but his decisions aren't their fault.
