Hey Ed I keep reading that TFG could be about to sell Everton for between 800 million to £1 Billion, with Amanda Stavely being heavily linked with the purchase, have you heard anything mate.
{Ed001's Note - Staveley is fronting up a new consortium who are looking to buy an English team, they have been working on West Ham, but that has become difficult, so she is looking around at who else might be available. She is a dealmaker, the front of it all, rather than the person who does the buying. She will no doubt take a percentage of the shares, like she did with Newcastle, in return, but she is not the buyer.
Everton is certainly an option, but is little real potential for property development investment gains, which could be an issue, as that is often the way to improve the value of a club. You already have the stadium, but there is not much they can buy around it to create a holistic package to gain revenue from. It is brand new, so they can't even redevelop what you do have. So I would think it unlikely to be the club they go for.}

Also read as HD is not up to a full events program yet, that it will effect any purchase price.
