What happens if 777 fail in their attempt to get the club? Do we rely on other buyers coming in?
1.) 20 Mar 2024 12:50:14
I guess so. Would be nice if FM put his hand in his pocket and tidied up the mess he's made, but that won't happen. I guess the eds will advise us.
{Ed001's Note - he can't though to be fair. His money came from Usmanov, now that is frozen he has no money to tidy up any mess.}
2.) 20 Mar 2024 13:03:27
Bloody Putin lol.
3.) 20 Mar 2024 15:31:26
According to Forbes he still has 2.4BN USD so he could help out a little. Great life. Buy it, f it, flog it. If he loses £50M it would be like us losing £5. We certainly got a bad draw with him.

But how much of that wealth is accessible Nick? You could argue I’m worth a couple of £100ks but I’d have to sell up everything and live in a van. Who knows where his 2.4 billion is tied up? It certainly doesn’t feel like it is at Everton….

Good point there BR23. However, accounts are good at shifting money about. It certainly should be with us. Beggars belief what he's done.
{Ed001's Note - you do realise that most of that value will actually be the value of Everton mate. Well maybe not most right now, but it must be a huge slice. The rest of his 'money' would be similarly tied up in assets that Usmanov had transferred to him in order to avoid having them frozen. It will not actually be cash.}
6.) 21 Mar 2024 19:45:27
Would you know if there are any genuine interested buyers that we could turn to ed001?
{Ed001's Note - there certainly were others but the finances are now so entangled with 777 I am not sure anyone would be still interested.}
7.) 22 Mar 2024 21:03:15
It's a bit like one of our politicians over here Ed001. He has a house which would sell for about 25M dollars but is valued at 200M in his reported net worth. Everton are in a financial mess and Moshiri neither has the resources nor the inclination if he did to bail us out, he wants to sell and get as far away from the mess as he can.
{Ed001's Note - let's just hope that someone does bail Everton out soon.}

The problem is: I don’t see anyone coming in to sort out the mess. We don’t have any ‘Sir Ratcliffe’ types buy a stake in us.
Saying that, I do remember a rumour back in the 90s that Paul Macartney was a fan… someone get on the blower to him!

Send him back to Chelsea. He's a wimp as far as i am concerned. Better if we can get Ewan Ferguson from Brighton.

Disgrace the way the club is being treated. wouldn't do it to any teams in the top 6? Getting punished twice in one season is outrageous.
{Ed025's Note - we have made a lot of mistakes at board level Grantham, and we did deserve sanctions, but this to me is blitzkrieg mate and it seems they wont stop until plucky old Everton are dismantled bit by bit mate, i do believe they have an agenda against us..

To put it bluntly we are in an absolute mess. Moshiri seems to have disappeared when it matters . Are 777 the answer? Not for me when you look at the other clubs they own . They are not happy. Are they hanging on in the hope that they get the club at a reduced cost?
Probably! Since Usmanov has gone it has turned into a s$%t show.
19 Jan 2023 11:38:01
Lets be honest! The club has gone to pot since Moyes left the club. Bill gets Moshiri in as the money man and unfortunately it hasn't worked out as the people employed are obviously useless. They Board need to look at themselves and resign. The sooner they go the better! Should be interesting at the weekend as both managers could get their marching orders!
{Ed002's Note - It doesn't work like that.}

Couldn't agree more. They are hopeless. can't believe we are interested in Tom Cannon after selling him.
For me the Rangers striker Igamane might be a better option? Tom Fellows on the wing and two new fullbacks! Creative midfielder needed big time also. We are so poor i just hope we improve otherwise we are destined to end up in the championship. I think Soton and Leicester will be relegated. Ipswich seem to be improving as are Wolves. It's going to be tough and could go down to the last game!
Sorry to be so depressing but we are Everton!

Crazy wages for players that are only average. Football has gone mad.
Should cap the wages for players. No wonder players are not bothered.
Like Dyche? He knew he would get a pay off. Too be fair he did well last year but this year he lost the players in the dressing room . let's support Moyes and the players and hopefully we can get out of this mess!

I bet the Hammers wished they had kept hold of him!
18 Sep 2024 06:03:50
Do we have a board? Who is in charge? Yes cannot agree more with the comments. He has to go. The game was pitiful to watch!
25 Apr 2024 06:24:58
Totally agree BlueMike. They were brilliant tonight and couldn't cope with DCL. Long may it continue!
