Really feels like like the end of the season. Title has been decided, relegation’s been decided… for the majority, there’s very little to play for.
Would be good to have some positive news around transfers, youth promotions or even a new video of the stadium to keep us from going mad. Delighted we are safe and can’t wait for the start of the next season to save us from this feeling of limbo.

Only as long as TFG keep a tight hold of the cheque book, and don't let Moyes anywhere near it.

Premier league - not premiership.
Sorry to be pedantic.

To talk positively about being in the PL next season sounds like we came up from the championship. I’m mortified this club I’ve supported all my life celebrates avoiding relegation still!
It’s time we started to see this current trend of small club mentality as unacceptable. As a club we need a full review of our current strategy. Because if survival is it, then we will eventually fail in that.
Starting next season without the goal of winning the competitions we are in will be nothing short of disastrous.
I’m sick of this small club mentality and expect change rather than accept more of the same.

Spot on TA. Sadly some have forgotten our history and avoiding relegation is seen as a success.

It’s a success from where we were, I was convinced we were down. Doesn’t mean that’s what we aspire to in the future.

Really? Most of the posts on here seem to think finishing 12th would be a good season. Sadly I don’t think our younger supporters see us as a big club anymore, whilst us old farts still expect more, and yes are sick of this “dogs of war” crap. Oh and “he works hard for the team”, meaning he runs around a lot but creates nothing.
I mean I read a post calling Dacoure a legend. That’s a bloody insult to the likes of Young, ball and Latchford.
