So my fellow evertonians are we all happy if Moyes pursues one of his old west ham favourites in Thomas Soucek I like him but can't help but feel slightly underwhelmed maybe it's just me what are your thoughts he does score goals and is always a danger in the opposition box.

I'd feel the same, solid player who would add something to the team for sure, but not really the type of player that gets you excited.

12m on the high side for a 30 yr old International footballer that has 15 goals for his country. Not to mention the 6 seasons in the PL, just shy of 200 games with 36 goals to his name, playing as a DM. Interesting.

I can't tell who's talking about Soucek and who's talking about swallowing potato salad in this thread anymore. I just think £12 Mil is a lot to spend on potato salad if you're not sure if you like it or what it goes best with. Funnily enough, that applies to Soucek too.

Sod the potato salad and Soucek… I want the club to focus on the Waldorf or Caesar salad that is our new right winger! Get it sorted and order someone in TFG!
(I’m fine with Soucek - it’ll stop him scoring against us. Anyone else notice we’ve been linked with a fair few players who tend to nab goals against us. Maybe that’s the new recruitment approach: buy anyone known to score against us and we will win the league! )
