I could get a team in that league to 40pts it's a very very poor standard I said it a couple of seasons ago if forest can get up to 4th or 5th in league with the crap players they have then anyone can. The league is terrible and the teams are terrible.

Agree0 Disagree0

The standard isn't great, mate, I agree. I mean, just look at Spurs right now. My mate, who is a mad Spurs fan, is seriously worried about their chances of staying up. It would only take Forest and West Ham to put a couple of wins together.
Even the so-called top six are not exactly tearing it up right now. I just think the league has been ruined by greed, from owners and players alike. It's all about the money now, and supporters just have to get on with it.
I read an interesting article about the German league and how they have kept ticket prices down, as they value their supporters and like to play to full grounds.

Apparently they don't believe that they need to charge so much on gate fees because, in the big scheme of things, it doesn't make a lot of difference.
We're here, we pay through the nose to watch players throw themselves to the floor and play WWE in the penalty area. Or wait until VAR decides who is going to win the game.
Don't know about anyone else, but I don't need to pay £150 for the "experience" of going to the match. I want to get in, have a few beers, a bloody good moan, and sing-song, and then go home. UTFT!

{Ed025's Note - just put me down for the moaning Brass.. :)

I can't believe what I'm reading. Honestly, embarrassing. You could get a team to 8th, yet how many managers have tried and failed? But they overlooked you. I give up sometimes.

I asked a few of my golf buddies why Premier League football (Soccer, as they call it) was not more popular in America. The universal answer is that it was too defensive, with very few goals being scored.

I tend to agree; we all want to see our team score, and moan when they don't. The problem is that managers and players just don't want to take risks. Passing backwards has fewer risks than taking on a player or shooting.

Agree, Bluepasty, very embarrassing, mate.

02 Mar 2026 13:18:13
Show them this weekend's scores, Mike. It was a goal fest this weekend, mate.

I do agree though, the league and football in general is nowhere near the level it used to be. It has eroded down to the predictable and mundane.

Give me back 80's, 90's and even early 2000's football any day of the week.

I'll tell you what's embarrassing. We average 3 shots on target a match this season, 3 shots, £70 a ticket to see 3 shots. Playing 5 centre backs in one match is also very embarrassing. We fluke a few away wins, which is very, very lucky; otherwise we would be in the relegation battle.

I want Moyes out. Sick of spending £100s of my hard earned cash to go and watch the biggest pile of rubbish I've ever seen. Yes, I do think I could do a better job than some of these managers; they haven't got a clue. Have you ever seen Dyche's training sessions? My misses could do better than him.

02 Mar 2026 17:21:11
Whilst I am not getting embroiled in the above arguments in too much detail, I can't help but point out that suggesting that we have fluked a few away wins is nothing short of nonsense.

We have the most away wins in the league since Moyes came back and are only 2nd to Arsenal this season, so I would say it is more than a "few".

Away results at United, Forest, Villa and this weekend were all deserved and certainly not a "fluke". Whether they were secured in attractive fashion is an entirely different argument.

02 Mar 2026 16:00:26
If you actually spend your money on going to the game then you'd realise us fans are well behind Moyes as our manager and still sing his song from the stands. He's doing better than the past 6 or 7 managers but you can do better than the lot of them yeah?

02 Mar 2026 18:11:05
My New Year's resolution was to count to 10 after reading posts like this and then not getting involved. But.

Your obvious hatred for the manager has skewed reality for you a little bit, judging by the OP. As BN points out, "flukey away wins" is not the reality, is it? Since DM came back, we have won 42 points away from home.

This is bettered only by Arsenal, with 45. You know, the team that's clear at the top by 5 points just now.

There are plenty of things that could be levelled at DM, but getting lucky away from home every time we win isn't one of them.

I have been to every home game this season, and I never hear Moyles' name getting sung from the stands. It's the complete opposite. No wins at home since early December, and it's now March. The fans around me in the stands are cracking up. I bring my misses and 2 kids, it costs a fortune, and it's really, really bad.

Fair play to Moyles, he sets the team up well away from home and we have been fortunate to pick up points. He deserves credit for that, but that's not enough for me. The home form is unforgivable. We produce absolutely nothing, and for that reason alone he must be sacked. It is simply not good enough.

{Ed025's Note - Moyes sets the team up very well away from home Dino because the onus is not on us to make the running, counter attacking suits us well mate with the players we have at our disposal but i must admit the home form has been nothing short of shocking..

02 Mar 2026 18:48:21
It's that bad at home. My kids are starting to ask me why we keep going back.

Unbelievable Strewth.
