Be nice if he bangs a few goals in between now and then but a really important bit of business in the summer will be getting Barry gone quickly.
I've been keen to back him all season. Young guy, new to the club and country etc etc. But his work ethic has been intermittent, he looks like a sulky teenager (rather than a grown man on Megabucks) and has now taken to social media to try and hammer our fans for reacting to the Arsenal fans he placed in our section?!
Beto might have less ability but he certainly has less flaws and is the only one of the two that can be relied upon for 100% every game.

Us Everton fans love (and miss) good football, but what we love most of all is players who embrace the club/fans and are passionate about it - Thierno Barry has shown none of that all season and has just put the cherry on the cake by trying to shame our fans for his own stupid, pathetic decision.

(To be clear, not condoning the violence - pathetic and unnecessary. But if you're not somewhere you shouldn't be you can't get hit.)

I can't see this going well for Barry with the fans now. He's not good enough anyway so best all round if a new club is found in the summer.

You watch as Moyes tries to give Barry instructions when he came on against Arsenal. His body language said it all. He just ignored Moyes. Then, when he came on, he looked moody and disinterested, and hardly made any attempt to gain possession or influence the game. I wouldn't play him again. Send him to the U21's and promote Graham.

Don't think he understands what Moyes is saying. The lad can hardly speak a word of English.

Definitely Mike.

Dino, mate, I don't know what Moyes said to Barry, but I can guess, and it wasn't sulk around looking disinterested.

Yes, mate, I agree with you. I think Barry hasn't got what it takes to be a good footballer, ability and attitude aren't up to
scratch.
