Well Mykolenko has signed an extension. Tarkowski is until 2027. Coleman retired. Dibling was a £40 mill buy for the U21's this season but spent it on the bench. Moyes likes him. He is staying. Patterson may go. There isn't a Woolworths anymore so couldn't even put Barry or McNeil in a lucky bag. We have a permanent circa £300-400 grand a week on the sick.
3 pts from 18. Oh and our ambitious transfer vision is to get players from relegated teams. Jolly holidays, then we will return to pre-season and GB etal, extolling the virtues of our wonderful deals and forecasting the certainty of Europe qualification 27/28. Oh be still my beating heart.

So funny. ?

Hopefully we return next season with far better players than what we have now, still so many average players to move out. Tfg will get the cheque book out.

I believe that you said the exact same thing a year ago, GB mate. It's great being constantly upbeat, but sometimes one has to be realistic.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results.

Have to believe Mike, don't like alternative, been doing it since the 60s mate.

Problem this turn around is the Moyes' ability to have us finishing 7th or 8th and getting the dogs out has dissipated. I was convinced he would have us top 8, but I didn't account for his dithering getting worse.

Tarkowski for another season is frightening. He has been very poor this season, and you can spot a mile off that his body is not keeping up with his mind anymore.
Yesterday, after a short sprint and a brilliant slide tackle, he got up and walked at a snail's pace back to his position, even though the game was still going on.
Looked absolutely shattered after a 10 yard sprint.
Not to mention getting absolutely ended by Brobbey. That was embarrassing, especially a defender of his ilk who likes to give off the hardman persona.

It's remarkable really. Moyes had the opportunity to shove it in the faces of fans like me who never wanted him back. Believe me, I would have been very happy to apologise and say I was wrong.
But nobody can convince me we have improved as a team, the football is bloody awful to watch, and this tactic of if we score first sit back and defend drives me mad.
You just know the opposition are going to score. It's just bloody depressing.
