I'm sure I said months and months ago Moyes is s*** and I wanted him gone but I got snagged off on here by some. How times change.

All the gear, no idea, them sort of guys.

Not me.

It's nice to have you back, Skylark. People's opinions shouldn't turn personal - hopefully things will be better this time round.

As for Moyes, I still hope we can sign someone decent players and charge up the table next season. I just struggle to see how we will do it under Moyes! He did have a good away record this season.

No idea how he managed it, but if we can replicate it at home, we could do alright next year. City, Liverpool and Bournemouth all above us, and under new management, so anything could happen with them.

Might stick £10 on Bournemouth to get relegated next season.

I put £10 on Brentford to go down this season. ???

I'm not sure how times have changed. Some of you dont like him, some do. We all have our own opinions, but things haven't changed. The same system that got us wins also got us losses. The players are at fault for most of it, not Moyes. Yes he could use other players, but he sees them every day so he knows best. We are in the Prem, we are looking in a better position than last season, hopefully with more players in we will be in an even better position next season.

Problem with a lot of you is a couple of wins then you think we are world beaters. Soon as we lose you all throw ur dummies out the pram and stay crying. The amount of people who do this on this page soon as we lose come on here and its the same ones. Grow up, its a game, we win, we lose, that wont change in 1 season.

Sorry but that hole post screams mediocrity.

I listened to Moyes in the Rooney podcast (never listened before, and unlikely to listen again but I wanted to hear how he was sold) . Moyes mentioned that young players may have to play out of position when they first start out. it's a flawed philosophy but it's his.

Until he goes, we have to stick with it.

I do think selection plays a large part in how we do, Bluepasty. You can't play out of form players, and Moyes does. That was a large reason why the last 7 games went so badly.

30 May 2026 19:28:50
Agree, Bluepasty. DM gets a decent budget and things don't improve, TFG will move him on by Christmas.

Skylark, I really do not know what you're expecting, do you actually think this squad of players that has been totally shocking for how many season now are going to be world beaters, I'm not being unrealistic, I think some of you on here are. We had a good run but ran out of puff because our squad isn't good enough. Bringing in will help next season and new blood to help the good players we have, and new players to push the good players to reach new boundaries.

We have a squad of 11 or 12 players, the rest aren't up to it or haven't reached their peak yet. No manager will come in and change anything that Moyes hasn't already done, money players are all that can change that. From what I'm hearing, we have some funds but not loads, so we are stuck with Moyes, like it or not, and for those who think the Bournemouth boss would leave them in Europe and come to us are living in cookcoo land.

30 May 2026 20:10:59
Good post, mate. Agree with all of that, a lot of our players are not good enough.

30 May 2026 21:04:01
Yes, you're right, we are stuck with Moyes, that's exactly why he should never have come back, our club makes some of the worst decisions.

30 May 2026 21:28:29
We don't know how good the other players are because we don't see them. Moyes does not know how to rotate a squad, if he did, we would be in Europe now. Not one point better than last season while still playing awful football.
