We just need to get a proper RB. Stop doing square pegs for round holes. Garner can play RB, and perhaps would be the back up, but I would go and get a natural fullback.

Garner is far too good to play at RB and would not be sticking around at us if he had to play there due to our s**te recruitment team. As GB said, we need a proper RB.

Garner is a proper right back that just happens to be okay as a square peg DM. He was superb for England at RB and is when he plays there for us. The lad Hackney was equally superb when I have watched him.

I will qualify that though, by accepting yes we need a RB because it is reckoned Moyes wants to play Garner and Taxie together in the middle.

Garner would be wasted at RB, need to go for a proper out and out RB, and be prepared to pay what it takes for a decent player to come into what has arguably been our main problem position over past couple of years.

What do you mean by "wasted at RB". It's a really important position and Garner is a great passer, tackler, stamina, strong, positional awareness, game management, future captain. He's got the lot. One season in that position at Everton would see him as England's long term RB too.

Stuck at right back? No. I want someone with all the dynamism of Garner. Look at that bloke that Morocco play at RB, Hakimi. He's the best RB in the world right now. I wouldn't say he's "stuck at RB". He thrives there and so do his teams because of it. A player with those characteristics playing at RB for us would be sensational.
