Shame to hear about Kevin Keegan passing away. While he played for our rivals, his talent and enthusiasm helped promote a generation of future players. RIP.

Yes, very sad. What a player he was. My brother met him back in the 70s as he is a red and Keegan was his favorite player, had a photo taken and signed by him, still hangs on his wall to this day.
{Ed025's Note - i had a cup of tea with him in our works caravan in 1976/7 near Lime st station lovely guy and that impressed i named my first son after him..

Some players just epitomise what is good about the game of football.. what a footballer Keegan was.. and to boot an even nicer fella by all accounts. Sadly missing his type in today's game of prima donna's.. even though he played for the dark side, credit where it's due.. a great footballer.
