So what are we all hoping for this season? Top 10 finish, good cup runs with a final, European qualification? Do you think the current squad will be good enough? I don't think the squad is that bad, but can't see us getting much better than 10th to 13th with the current manager.
If it's a poor start, how long do you think before Tfg act? Do you think they would act?

Top ten should be the realistic target. Semi final or final of a cup, also.
Jaunty into Europe would be good, but we don't have the squad for it. Sign a new LB, two RBs and a decent striker and we may have..

I genuinely think it all hinges on the signing of a RB and decent striker.
If you chuck Grealish into it, I reckon we could have a decent season.

If all of the above happen: 8th and a decent cup run for me.
If not, I reckon we'll be looking for a new manager soon enough and what happens then is in the map of the Gods.

I'm hoping we take the cup competitions seriously and don't wimp out like we did last season. A European place is a must, otherwise we are just standing still as a club, and just making top ten is not good enough.

I think.. like most, the main problem, if there is one, is the commitment from TFG.. It's more and more obvious that to have any level of success in this league we need 2 first teams, not a team of reserves.. The top 6 have this and that's where we need to be.

You will need a strong squad if you want to be successful, but getting two teams of quality players will take hard cash and a lot of time.

My honest prediction for this season is a top 6 finish and I'm confident. I believe we'll sign Grealish and a RB before the window's out. A forward would be great, but not sure that's going to happen.
So much transition in the Premier League this season, I think that's what we saw a little in yesterday evening's game.
We're not in Europe, and I believe these are all pluses. I also think we've done some good business this summer. No excuses this season, and I'm backing us for Europe.
