Ok, Like most I'm gobsmacked how that ended. And it turned into a very Everton ending. But not enough is being thrown Balagun's he walked away from the deal. He's medical picked up a problem, the deal was renegotiated and agreed.
Beto had already gone, if the club thinks Balagun's deal can't be renegotiated its gunna try get a late alternative, no? If that put Balagun's nose out so much then he can piss off anyway.
That said, it does seem to be poorly prepared and yes would've liked at least another defensive body in as well.
It's poor that a Premier League club, how the striker and fullback positions only have one recognised player each.
This could also be the making of players like Dibbling and George.
Im not saying those at the top making decisions shouldn't answer to this, they should. But Balagun walked away from the deal last minute, so he holds a huge amount of blame as well in my opinion.

I think we dodged a bullet. 45 million, he isn't worth it, we're just making the same mistakes over and over again. He would have been a flop like Barry, remember, he already flopped in England before.

I'm just as concerned about our left back situation as our striker situation. Someone like Alcaraz could do a job up top, but who do you put in instead of Myk? JB, I suppose.

Monaco's chairman made a statement. Balogun didn't like the way he was being treated. Yes, it was a s*** show, but for a mediocre player, going to be paid a fortune, think I would have said where do I sign.

We definitely dodged a bullet with Balogun, but nevertheless it still leaves us massively short. Braiden Graham will hopefully get game time now. George can play up top, as can Brennan Johnson. Let's hope that's enough to get us to January so our recruitment team can fook it up again.

Well, perhaps he had better scruples than you. I admire the lad for telling them where to go. Looking at other players, then coming back to you when they couldn't get them. And just leaving you sitting there while this farce went on.
Where was Moyes in all of this? Surely he must have met the lad and talked to him. Maybe give him an idea of what he was hoping he could provide the team. Or did he just feck off home? He is supposed to be involved in all transfers apparently.
