Teah saw that mate there are some seven Premiership clubs after his signature, must be pretty good lol.

31, hardly plays, had injury problems, a wide man with no pace, a utility player equally bad everywhere.
Another one to add to the list. David Moyes is a football genius.

No pace? Sounds perfect in a team totally lacking in any pace.

Interested to know how the knowledgeable ones on here would attract decent players. Think of it like the NFL draft in reverse. All the top clubs are going to have the first pickings. Next comes the clubs willing to gamble with PSR. The second or third choice clubs then have the problem of knowing even mediocre players are going to hold them to ransom.
Dibling. Southampton knew we were desperate. £40 mill is an example, our scouts and most on here rated him, probably still do. I bow to their wisdom.

The biggest thing to hold Solly March back is his injuries, unfortunately. As a player, he is very good and loved by the Brighton fans.

Sounds like a Bolaisie type for me. Waste of money. Must be better options out there.
I've started to think Stones on a free with huge reduction in wage could be a good deal. Cover RB and Gana, could get two years out of him if injury free and could potentially take up a coaching role where he can pass on Pep's tactics.
very left field thinking but the idea is growing on me. Would need a significant reduction in wage though.
Marsh is a no go for me.

For me, he's a no, but for Moyes a yes yes.
- he's older than 28.
- can't hold down a game in another average prem side.
- no pace.
Will probably play him at rightback!

So, we're taking transfer links as gospel now? Come on people! I get that there is a lot of you that are hating on Moyes, but surely there's enough ammo with his subs, style of play, etc., to hit him with! Hating on him due to a story from a journalist is a bit of a stretch.
Just over the last few seasons, how many players have we been linked with? Out of all those links, how many did we actually sign? Put the beer down and get out of the sun. ?

We all know we're not eating from the top table, but that doesn't mean there aren't quality players out there. Sadly, our scouting team does not seem to be able to identify the same players as the likes of Bournemouth, Brighton, Sunderland etc.
Stones was straight back in the City team every time he was fit, plenty left in the tank.
If we want to shell out on 2/3 players at 30+ million, we may also need to be clever in the free transfer market.
We'll get linked with hundreds of players over the next 2 months, I'll judge them when they happen.

Also, although we don't learn, and seem to get sucked in every year DM hasn't signed anyone yet, and until they've got the shirt on don't believe anything you read. We've got weeks of this yet! 9 times out of 10 it's complete bs.
