According to the Telegraph Hayden Hackney close to being finalised and should be done by the weekend for 25 million. If he does join what's people's fought on him and would he be in starting 11? I havnt seen him play me but I remember someone on here who has watched him few times for Boro said he was good player with potential like.

Looking forward to watching him. Love how good we are at negotiating though. We offer £10 million, Boro want £25 million so we offer £15 million. Boro say we want £25 million so we offer £25 million and apparently we are signing him. Great negotiating tactics by us, isn't it lol.

Apparently the fee is £16.5m, plus a further £5m on appearances and £3m linked to CL and England games. So at least that means we will only ever pay 21.5m, hey!

Looks promising, will celebrate when he actually signs for us and when Moyes let's him play.
Not sure how much money the club has to spend. GB thinks it is 100M and I hope that he is right, on the other hand I have read that we need to sell in order to buy, whatever that means.
I guess that we will see over the next month or so. Ed025 any inside information mate?

I'm guessing we will get rid of Dwight, hopefully as part of a deal for Bowen. I've heard Gueye is leaving, Hackney replaces him number wise, Patterson and Coleman will be gone, so could do with Doue and another fullback who can cover left and righbacks.
Tim could be off, so hopefully replace him with someone decent. Will probably sell Alcaraz, so need a replacent for him, or use Dibbling in a 10, plus all in for a decent striker, then a couple more for squad. Easy peasy.

My brother watches a lot of Championship matches (he is a West Brom season ticket holder) , and tells me that Hackney is about the best player he had seen this season in Championship.
