Dev, Moyes is likely the problem, mate. He's already said Armstrong wouldn't be playing if everyone was fit. Why wouldn't the club accept an offer for someone the manager isn't going to play? I'm fuming about this. Guaranteed Forest will be getting Anderson money for him in a few years.

It's a setup by the club to make the Ndiaye exit more palatable for the fans. The thought of losing Armstrong is worse than Ndiaye. It's a clever play.

JBtoffee. Our finances, along with a number of other teams, are still in jeopardy as we sit in this 30% buffer above the Premier League 85% SCR, but Forest also sit in there even after the Anderson money has hit the balance sheets.
Sitting in the buffer where we are will have financial implications, which will directly impact SCR in following years. There is an article on it, I will have a look for it again.
Sell Ndiaye and that puts us below the 85%.
Keep Ndiaye and sign some of the others discussed, and we stay in that buffer of 85-115% SCR.
Next summer, our revenues massively increase in the accounting and we could afford the financial hit, not ideal but could be coped with.
Go above 115% and it's an instant 6 point deduction, which could rise to 12 depending on how far you breach over that.
You can also get a transfer ban from registering new players if you don't sell a current asset to become compliant.
At least there is a framework to this and not just people choosing a random punishment.
Bournemouth are pretty screwed as they are said to be at 128% and, being in Europe, need to adhere to the Prem's 85% and UEFA's 70% but still recruiting.

No way in a million years that Armstrong will be sold. Shocked this has come from Ornstein, but it has to be crap.
That type of rumour can only come from Forest side, and we'll be telling them to politely jog on!

I think people on here should stop talking about the finances when they clearly don't know what it means.
Leave it to the accountants at the club and stick to talking about football.
