My biggest concern with these Armstrong rumours is if we sell him it's pure profit as he is home grown. Which is great for balancing the books for the accounts team. Would be a real kick in the balls if he was sold.

There are two elements to this balancing the books though.
Of a transfer fee, even at pure profit, we would see £34m hit the bottom line, as you get 85%.
But on the operational costs side, we have a very talented first team player who is only on £1200 per week, imagine the wage a replacement would be, let alone the transfer fee.
Should be dismissed immediately, He's under contract until 2028 with a further year option.
If I was in the team handling contracts, I would tell him we are dismissing this and will review your contract in a few months for an extension and rise.
At the end of the season I thought he might benefit from another loan, but preseason and the opening games have shown me those thoughts were wrong.

I would genuinely rather we sold Ndiaye than Armstrong - I think, give it another season, he'll be worth double if we do have to sell him.
I don't believe any talk of this being a PSR issue, as we would surely have addressed this earlier in the summer, plus we do not have a large wage bill by Premier League standards and have not spent egregious sums of money in the transfer market in recent seasons either, so if we are in breach then we truly have no hope of ever getting line.

This might be my fault.
They put more padded seats in the unique ones and I complained, saying I want one as well. Got a feeling it's to pay for this.

I agree with selling Ndiaye before HA. If I were the owner, then selling HA would not be entertained. I will be enraged and gutted in equal measure, akin to ice cold rage.

Armstrong and Ndiaye both in starting line up for Bournemouth game.
May mean nothing but..

It means Ornstein is up to his usual spouting BS.

I blame Bju. Couldn't you just be happy with the upgrade from wooden to plastic?

The fact Ndiaye and Armstrong are starting suggests they will both be staying put. It's too late on in the window now. Having said that, I think incommings will be minimal if at all.
