I heard a horrible rumour today .
AVB is being seriously considered.
We must do better than him. If that's our choice then maybe we don't have the money Moshri says he has.

I see Molly he had loads to spend at Chelsea guess shat sacked after a season. Loads of money at Spurs guess what didn't last a season.
Do he win the league with Porto after Mourinho being in charge. It's like putting Walter smith in charge of Everton after rangers it means nothing if they've won leagues out if a two team league. We would be better keeping Bobby then AVB .

Sorry man, I didn't mean to be a personal dig at your comment so apologies. He won the league with Zenit as well mate so he's won two leagues which is more than good enough for me. Think he tried to change too much hat Chelsea getting rid of the "old guard" so to speak, I just think he would be a good choice. Personal preference though as always, he could come and he awful. I think people are wishing upon stars for Mourinho or Pellegrini so I was trying to be a bit realistic I suppose.

Classification for the OP as a lot of people do seem to be confused about it. WE don't and will never have the money Moshiri says HE has. WE don't have ANY of HIS money. He has many businesses, probably none of which have access to HIS money. Buying shares in a business doesn't oblige him to give the business any of HIS money. He may decide to INVEST (not give) some of his money in the club by buying assets (players) or building infrastructure (e. g. a stadium) in an attempt to increase over time the value of the business he now part-owns. That would mean his shares are worth more money, with all of that increase in share value belonging to him, not the club.

I heard a whisper now that the dust has settled the board are gutted they never got shut of RM a few weeks earlier.
To think with an interim manager the players might have upped their game especially with the semi with UTD.
It was clear as day the team were not happy with Martinez.
I do not want Moyes back he did a job when he was first here but couldn't beat any of the top teams away.
It's a shame Benitez has gone I think he would have been a good fit.
I think Roberto Mancini has been overlooked it's likely to be pellegrini I just want a coach who cares 100% by the club.

Look at the clubs he's managed, we can't be short sighted and say he played for them next door.

It was interesting last week Distin was interviewed on talk sport he was asked about Everton and why this season the defence and team weren't doing so well.
His response was simple five words " we worked as a team".
It is very evident in watching Everton no one seems to know what their doing, there's no enjoyment in the play. The team has a number of individuals who think they are too big for the club.
There is no camaraderie between the players.
I think the players have fell out with RM and themselves.
Ranieri who let's be perfectly honest is not an average manager has won the biggest prize in English football has put his success down to having players with the right attitude.
That goes for owner chairman coaches players and backro staff.
The fallout if this season should be reviewed and people held accountable not just RM how have we sunk so low!
