I’ve said this before that football and footballers are getting worse. Football is soo boring now I’ve started to watch the NFL. Its way more exciting than football and that’s a shame. I struggle to get through 90mins of a game nowadays. There is no talent now in football no superstars to get excited about. That Arsenal team are top of the league and they are pathetic they would bore the ass off anyone they are rubbish. I’ve heard arsenal fans saying they are great but like Liverpool over the past few years they aren’t great.
The standard in football has dropped off a cliff. What ever happened to wingers getting the ball having a go at the full back and get the ball in box for strikers to attack. Football is side to side boring rubbish with no good players to watch. Someone recently told me Declan Rice is as good as Roy Keane what a joke. Carlton palmer is about rice standard.
{Ed025's Note - i dont agree on Rice Dino but the rest is spot on mate, i got pelters last season for saying it was the worst Premiership in history and the reds fans just called me bitter, but im right and this season is no different, the majority of the top teams are as boring as hell and play not lose football which is boring us all to tears, this season could even eclipse last seasons debacle..

Spot on Dino, for the first time ever I have stopped watching our games before the 90 minutes is up.
Talked to some of my American golf buddies about why football (soccer over here) is not popular and they all said it was too boring and not sufficient goals being scored with dominant defenses.

You mean the nfl of 4 x 15 mins that lasts 3 hrs. The skill is remembering all the patterns. They have four different teams and have oxygen on the sidelines poor dears. If you want physical exciting watch Rugby League. Cricket is more exciting than NFL. Mind you you can't knock a Country that turned Rounders into a money machine.

Agree totally 100%, every team is trying to copy and play like pep, sideways from the back tippy tappy football, i would love a new manager to come along and play old style football and win the league doing it, why everyone has to copy people theses days i just don't get it.

To many foreign imports guardiola and var have ruined the premier league it's turned into a non contact sport every tackle get given a fowl teams are playing for ball retention and to be awarded free kicks n corners n dodgy penalties it's hard to sit through a full game.

Top flight footy has being getting more boring for years.
Peak Prem footy was 1997- 2006/8
Attacking minded, fast, better technically than before, pitches getting better.

Spot on ed you will see more action and excitement in the antique road show that you will in the football today. that's one of the worst Arsenal teams I’ve ever seen. They are a disgrace playing that sort of football they are cheating good paying customers.
I watched them vs Liverpool and vs Forrest both performances were horrendous that bad I might cancel my sky prescription.
