Moyes also now focusing on deals for RW, RB and a proven experienced striker. at least one of them will be another loan deal.

He is not a gamble. He is also not a world beater.
He improves us no end and will eventually become one of the best players in the PL. The question is, whether or not it will be whilst he is at us.

He's 19 mate, couldn't help Southampton avoid relegation last year. Ignore the amount we paid for him, he is a member of the team, an important one but can't do everything. The other players have to start improving and benefit from his talent.

Armstrong has to be loaned out and play as much football as he can. Still a way off epl level for me. Our bench and 20 mins in a cup game is a waste of the lad this season.

I agree FBS. Either play him or loan him, he needs game time and is absolutely one for our future. CM arguably our position with the most depth with KDH and Alcaraz being able to play there too.

Got to say I am nervous about the game tomorrow. Performance against Leeds poor from what I have mainly read on here. Problem is I don't know what everton is going to turn up.
Re dibbling I'm chuffed he is coming but again some calm is needed. If you are good enough you are older enough I get that analogy but to say he is going to be 1 of the best players in the league 1 day is fantasy/ speculation at best. I get the excitement but he has a long long long road ahead before we can understand what he is going to be in 2 3 4 seasons. Re the season ahead I'm mainly expecting continual approval and I think we will be fine with a very good experienced manager (look at west ham) I just worry that fans want us to adapt expansive exciting football but be careful what you wish for (look at west ham) I get fans frustration over signings this summer but we have to accept although we are kind of out of the woods financially as a club we have been in the doldrums for a long long time and early signs of an up turn in fortunes only came about when moyes came back in last season. I think we are in much better hands now and we are going in the right direction but i'd expect more of the same as last season so don't be surprised if we lose against Brighton and don't get too upset if we do, on the contrary celebrate the wins but don't expect European football. Early doors still but looking at the 1st 2 rounds of games I think the league may be a lot lot tighter this season.
