Seen us linked Marseille striker Bemba Dieng supposedly asked for a transfer how true this is Eds can you shed any light on this rumor.

{Ed002's Note - Bamba Dieng (S/LW) Availability of the player was asked about by Newcastle during discussions over another player. He only joined the first team last last summer and is now available for €15M or more. He has done reasonably well but it would be a big step up to the Premier League. Crystal Palace and Fulham have both been talking with Marseille about him but Fulham don't see the value for money and offered far less than would be acceptable. Nice have proposed a loan. Celtic have made an enquiry. West Ham may have caught him with the scattergun. Agent is running around offering him to all PL clubs which is not helping Marseille - so it would be the agent talking to Everton. The representative of Marseille is back in England tomorrow to try and get a couple more players moved on, including BD.}

I must admit I feel good about the summer transfer business seems we have a few things right buying proven premier league players who are solid and dependable we should of done this years ago seems like lamps and Thelwell are making some right moves excited to see onana when he is up and running seems quite the prospect.

From the outside looking in it's nice to have a DOF and Manager on the same page and for the DOF to be allowed to do his job without Mr Moshiri buying players so far it's been an incredible window and hopefully get a striker in (Batshuyai) and I will be very happy indeed.

Hope we don’t get Batshuyai - I’m not sure why so many fans think he’d be a good addition? He’s hardly prolific and didn’t do much in the premier league previously. He’ll also want a large wage

If he does come I’ll support him but think there is better out there that we should be looking at first.

What makes you think he would want a large wage Gingerdan bud and if we could get him for under 10 million then it's a win win you have to remember a few years back he was hot property and look at how many strikers have failed at Chelsea so maybe he just needs to feel loved again and then he might turn into the striker he was expected to be.

As he’s already on £90k per week at Chelsea and has a contract until June next year he’s not going to want to move for less money is he? So I’d imagine he’d want atleast £100k per week to join us.

Onana looking close apparently reported on SSN don't know to much about him but looking promising also looking like Gana getting closer exciting time ahead.

Onana will be a good signing for us there will be more signings yet I be. ieve really need new replacements to replace our below averagevTeam of last season.

Looks like defence will be more solid with Tarkowski in there.
Midfield lot more steel in there with Omana and potentially gueye also.
Hopefully with these players we’ll concede less.

Mcneill looks a decent acquisition.

Just need a striker aim and should be a decent first 11

Nice one Guernsey - believe you mentioned our interest in Onana back at start of July when some thought only West ham were interested! Great rumour post! Don't know much about the player but there seems to be lots of positivity on here from people that have seen more of him so fingers crossed he's a goodun and not another Gbamin!

Onana gives ariel ability in both boxes. We lost Richy but are stronger now than end of last season. Striker needs sorting now.
