Lots of lovely money, and a place on the bench, hope he's happy, Illiae, has swapped cash for football, guess it depends on your priorities.

He appears to be playing now, for a team which will challenge for the league, both domestic cups and Champions League... Hmmmmmmm is it really just about cash?

What a silly comment.

Well, he came off the bench and City won with 10 men. As a reminder, Ndiaye is no longer our player.

He got a move to a team that will challenge for trophies, good luck to the lad. He was also vastly underpaid with us, 45k per week in comparison to the wage of others within our squad.

I say massively underpaid, but 45k isn't too shabby, is it? No need to hate on him, he did the right thing for his career.

Excellent player. Wish him all the spoils of footy, he was good for us.

He has literally just moved to them. As soon as the players around him learn how good he is and to trust him, watch his minutes increase.

He came on and was one of their best players today.

I hold no grudges and wish him all the best with City.

Hopefully he scores against the Kopites at Anfield.

Ndiaye was great for us. A bit of class when (at the start) we had little to none.

Scored key goals, played for the shirt and got you out of your seat.

We've sold him on for a tidy profit and he played well up to the last minute for us.

Where in any of the above could you have anything but affection for him?!

The mind boggles!

Agree Ndiaye is a class act. So sad to lose him but I would applaud him if I ever get to see him again. Wish him all the luck and he deserved the move.

13 Sep 2026 22:10:50
What is sad is players that moved from us to City say it is a dream come true. Until they were bought by the Arabs, City were a crap team and when I lived in Manchester in the 1960's poorly supported. How things have changed!

Let's hope it's us next up to be bought by the Arabs then. ?
