If you want to know how bad our club is run just look at the Ferguson situation. We kept a guy at our club in a management position for about 10 years who couldn't even win a match in league 1 with forest Green. Big Dunc was coaching and Managing at Everton football club for years and he done worse than the guy before him at Forest Green. Took us the guts of 10 years to figure out he hasn't got a clue and some fans actually wanted him to get the Everton job before Sean Dyche got it. It's madness bloody madness. That's Sean dyches level league 1 he will probably be the next Forest Green Manager and Dunc will be back with us.

I'm pretty sure ferguson has won a game at forest green, and he won games as caretaker manager at everton. And Ancelotti rates him high enough to want to take him to Madrid. So as Joe the goal can't get his facts right, I agree with yawn.

I think we kept him for the reasons stated above Joe, he made a very good interim, and what seems to be a highly rated assistant.
I would love to know though mate, what manager did you think was the appropriate replacement for Lampard?
Of course bearing in mind we have a squad just about fit for the lower leagues, no money, all kinds of shenanigans in the boardroom, not to mention the rule breaking affairs. ?.

F Green are a very poor squad with 1 or 2 promising kids. He bottled going to Madrid which is crazy stupid. I was one of the idiots who championed him for taking over from Lamps. Wouldn't have done any worse than the big red boll99 we went with. Fair play to Dunc for finally cutting ties and getting a job but he waited too long. He had a 3 year window where he should have done something. Shame as he will get tainted as a failure now. What is it with cowardly Brits fear of going abroad? He would have a CL winner on his CV and a domestic Spanish cup. Bonkers. With that he'd have walked into a Championship job this summer.

Sean Dyche isn't a premier league manager. We were warned as no other team would take him even the championship teams wouldn't take him. He has no idea how to set a team up to win all he knows is how to set a team up to defend. It's useless and to say no other manager could do different is ridiculous. I bet Villa, wolves, Crystal Palace all thought the same and look at them now 1 win in 9 games is a horror show. We need to come out of the blocks 100 miles per hour instead we have 11 payers in our own half moving side to side it's too slow not enough passing no pace and far too negative. We need to go for it from the first whistle not this crap camped in our our half hoping we get a corner kick. He has lost the plot now as well which is concerning. Look at the team selection the last few games Holgate Sean are you having a laugh. We are getting what we deserve. Sad thing is a lot of our fans wanted Dyche and lamps and the club listened to them which is unbelievable. Need to get Sean out if we go down or stay up.

I only have 1 account. I had a previous account of Brown Shoes but after changing phone I lost my original login details and it was easier to start a new account. As I stated it's offensive and a down right lie that you're implying. I'm not the OP on this thread. I am more than happy to stick to my own opinions with my single account thank you very much. How anyone can expect any manager to come in and work miracles with the same squad that has seen off is staggering! Did you also expect a few goals from DCL in his first start since the arsenal game months ago? If you answer yes to both then maybe it's you who should temper expectations?
SD should have taken Holgate off as it was inevitable he would get a second yellow. Luckily, it didn't cost us at the end and he is now missing for a few games. Turned out alright as we probably won't see him in a blue shirt again.

If SD was any different to the man he is, as in a more flamboyant style of play and more of a continental mystique about him do you honestly believe these players would fare better?
He isn't perfect, and he hasn't got all the answers to getting this very poor squad to look much better than they have all season, however given all the nonsense he has had to deal with that's going on with EFC atm he is probably one of the few PL managers who are robust enough to cope.

We needed a manager who was prepared to take a few risks and go for it a bit more. At home to Fulham who are let's face it a championship team we created nothing and even at 3 1 down he didn't have the footballing knowledge to change it. It's the same tripe week in week out and if it doesn't work then there is no plan B. Yesterday at 2 1 we have nothing to lose should have went 3 up top and went for it but no we stuck with 1 8 1 1 formation.

The squad is awful and unbalanced. In the very short time SD’s been with us, he’s got some good performances out of them. Yesterday was not one of them, although we did create enough chances to do better and were let down by some very poor decisions from our defenders. I’d stick with him whether we stay up or not. We still need to get rid of half the squad and rebuild.

I don’t think any manager could get a consistent tune from this squad. They’re simply not good enough to compete in premier league. League positions don’t lie and we’ve been here last season too.
Until we clearout everyone who had a part to play in the mess (Moshiri, Chairman, Board, DOFs, sub standard Players, etc. ) we will be back here next season, even if 3 teams finish with less points than us.
Dyche will go the same way as all other managers since Moyes. He looks up for the fight but unfortunately he’s only a small part in the cog and most other parts are broken beyond repair and need replaced.

Thing is Southampton, Leicester, Forrest, Bournemouth and the other teams are all giving it a go. Trying to score goals committing players forward trying to get out of the mess by scoring goals. It’s the only way to get out of this mess try and win games and if you fail then so be it but at least try. Dyche plays the same way every week park the bus and that’s it no attack no going for it no goals no points no risk. It’s boring and tbh it’s never working. Come on show us some balls flip sake at least try and win a match instead of always playing not to lose.

I want the manager to have a fair chance too but if the manager isn’t good enough what is the point of delaying the inevitable. Lampard should have been replaced in the summer. It was clear for anyone to see last season that lamps was a tube but we didn’t see it then in November it was slapping us in the face that lamps is an appalling manager did we change it no we didn’t we gave him 3 more horrible months before we acted. Now we are doing the same thing Dyche is a bad bad manager he only knows one way to play and it isn’t working but do we do anything about it no we haven’t got a clue the whole club fans included. It’s a very sad time to support Everton and if we go down then that could be the end of us. We are on our way to being the next Sunderland.

This will be the same with Sean yous want him now and want to give him time then in a couple of months the same guys who are singing his praises will want him out. It’s a bit embarrassing really I do not see the point in it. If he isn’t good enough get him out now why wait like we did with Frank. Guys on here wanted frank out before World Cup started in November and everyone on here said that’s ridiculous including the Ed give frank time a few seasons you said, now the same people are saying keep Dyche and we should have brought Dyche in before the World Cup started.
