Just watched that new training video and I know it is only training but that Armstrong looked quality. He didn't get beat in a single duel and seems to have a decent brain on him.

It will be interesting to see what Davey thinks of him and whether he wants to keep him around.

I can also see why City were sniffing round the young keeper Douglas Lukjanciks the last few windows. Only 17 as well.

Made up JB is sticking around. What a player.

I thought he looked really good aswell. To be fair i thought Beto looked impressive aswell. The wee red head also looked to have a bit about him, despite being much smaller.

Think they will loan out armstrong again. For me he is a talent to be used in our first team squad but maybe I don't see 'the bigger picture'.

{Ed025's Note - maybe its others who dont see the bigger picture DMS..

Armstrong is ready. The lad was brilliant for Derby last season in a league that's a lot more physical than the Prem.
I moved to the Derbyshire Dales when I retired and I am surrounded by Derby fans, all absolute fanatics. they absolutely love him, and credit him for keeping them up.
I have been to a few games and watched the lad. He's very composed on the ball, and is always looking to move the ball forward. Doesn't shy away from tackle and doesn't hold back if other players are not performing.
We have Garner but in my opinion based on what I have seen, Harrison is already the better player.

Derby bottom end of championship is not comparable but the lad has a pre season to show himself. I also think another loan would be ideal but he could save us some money and be a bench warmer? Where does he learn fastest?

So going to a team struggling at the bottom and helping to turn them around is not impressive? Watched him on telly and the commentators were raving about the lads class. Got mom!, which is not the first one he picked up either.
This lad can play and loaning him out again won’t help him.

I was wondering myself what he ment by being at the wrong end of the championship, what does that even mean, what it means is he went to a rubbish team, transformed them single handedly and now is getting the praise he deservs, I hope he's a starter for us, garner for me is a player for now, us moving forward he will be sold, he's just not good enough to take us to the next level.

My mate at work is Derby fan he told me he was unbelievable every game and Derby fans want him back but realise that won't happen.

@scottish toffee. The wee red head is braided graham. This lad will be pure class if he maintains his potential. Am genuinely excited about this kid.
