This rumour mill seems crazier this window than any other I can remember.
It can be frustrating getting linked with exciting players. only to see them sign for another club, but let's just see who we have got by the end of the window.
I miss the days of Ceefax (for those of us old enough to remember it?) .
You only knew a deal was done when it was as good as confirmed, if I remember rightly you had to ring an 0800 number to get the rumours, simpler days?.

It’s because we have new owners and are relatively free of PSR and everyone thinks we have money to spend and most importantly of all we have so many players to acquire in order to get a full squad.

I used to love the Sunday papers with the gossip sections. Get my weekly fix. Kanchelsis the best gossip that came true. Now I'm refreshing every 20 minutes hoping for something.

Hated ceefax, it always took ages to load and when it did, you’d have to wait until the second or third page and go through the loading process all over again. Oh how times have changed!

Happened with Moshiri, we saw dollar signs. Only he came with baggage and a not so silent partner. He also listened to those that should have been nowhere near this great Club. BK did his best to protect us but unfortunately, illness took its toll.

Bill took a lot of flak, but I remember in an interview. When asked about all the signings that were made for over the top fee's, his reply "you try telling a billionaire no". Summed up moshiri for me.

Probably be no Everton now if not for bill, yeah he’s an easy scapegoat blamed by many but that moshi guy was something else entirely.
After those few years of turmoil would settle for a good mid table next season, with an unnervy end to the season.
