Moyes, telling the world and his wife, that we are desperate to bring players in, and that time is running out . Surely such statements are only likely to push up the price from selling clubs, and make player demand more generous contracts, always thought he had more brains than that .

Hayden Hackney, Tom Fellows, Chris Rigg and James McAtee, all for less than Jack Grealish wages. Why are we not pushing for these players instead of Luis and Grealish. Right age, right profile and surely would relish playing for us.

He also said the club being around the relegation zone last few years might be part of the reason too, sure that looks desperate but only telling half a story makes it sound worse.
We’ve not had the greatest reputation for looking after players either, add this with constant relegation scraps and people wonder why players are hesitant.
Abdoulaye Doucoure, Ashley Young, Joao Virginia, Asmir Begovic, Mason Holgate and Neal maupay oh forgot Calvert Lewin have left, apart from a few moments from doucoure non of them contributed much, and last season loans where are crap too, most posters on here cried for the youth to be played above all above, whilst I agree we look thin on players recruiting was always going to be difficult.
Where possibly going to have to accept a few surprises and the odd almost past it player till we shake the past mistakes.

So why are so many players going to Sunderland if they are worried about relegation. Simple just add a clause that if they get relegated they can move for x amount.
