Has a player who's contract has run out like doucoure and DCL ever left the club thinking the grass is greener and then realising it's not and then re signing with the club they just left, as I would offer dcl a 1yr contract on reduced terms if we haven't signed another striker just for squad depth.

Sorry Monkey Nuts but we’d be mad to offer DCL a contract now.
He had an offer on the table which he refused - the fact no one has signed him speaks volumes.
Not sure what squad depth he’d add with his injury record either.

Only contract I'd have DCL on is pay as you play with goal involvement bonus. But he'd probably end up on less than minimum wage.
