A lot of my fellow evertonians on the forums were getting excited about our first six games I told them this season we would be just trying to keep ourselves above the relegation zone and my opinion has never changed regardless of the results when we get injuries and we will we could be on the bottom four or five er need the promoted sides to carry on losing.

Where doing the same things over and over but expecting different results, same team same late subs same tactics, and it's been this way for years, and as for buying players why bother we won't play them till the 80th minute anyway, I'm almost convinced Moyes is taking the pee at this point but previous managers have also been like this.

24 Oct 2026 20:59:54
What we need is a coach who is aware that there's another half of the pitch beyond the halfway line. Every team knows how to play against us. We are an absolute disaster of a club with this twerp in charge. Absolutely no desire to attack and as usual invite the opposition to attack us. "Oh but they have so many good players" the guys devoid of any knowledge on how to win a game.

Constantly says we have a weaker team, even against teams we should be schooling.
We've been ever present in the PL and should be strutting against at least 13 other teams. But instead we roll over week in week out.
Enough now Enough!

24 Oct 2026 23:23:14
We should all have expected to lose today. I thought we gave them a good game. Still a striker away from a decent side. We'll win enough games playing as we did today against other teams. Or we can all just dive into the abyss of negativity.

24 Oct 2026 23:32:40
JB, there isn't much I disagree with you on mate but whether we expected to lose today or not I'd besides the point. If we were going to lose anyway, why not at least have a go from an attacking aspect. At least the fans travelling down would have had some level of getting their monies worth.

I don't see how we gave them a good game. Just like Chelsea, they didn't have to get out of first gear. We didn't push them whatsoever today. The first goal was pathetic and the 2nd was another case of basic dreadful defending. Leaving the most dangerous man in the air alone at the backstick. Yet again Tarkowski marking absolutely nobody, forcing O'Brian across.

Just an utter s***e approach to any game of football. The only lad who can come out of that game today with any self respect is Armstrong.

25 Oct 2026 04:35:45
I thought Rohl had a good game ss well BN mate. the others not up to standard at all.

25 Oct 2026 08:20:34
Well I watched the match with my lad in Gran Canaria and was 7 or 8 Malaga beers deep when we kicked off. Very slow off the mark, and a poor first goal but I did think we improved after that.

Put them under pressures for parts of the second half, but should have made subs sooner. Win the Newcastle game midweek and we may feel a bit more positive.

25 Oct 2026 10:35:21
I am with BlueNose 100% here.

The Einstein definition of 'madness' has been alluded to since yesterday's match, and I am inclined to think David Moyes has never heard of Einstein.

24 Oct 2026 19:08:16
I said before we kicked a ball this season that Moyes would be gone by Christmas & I'm sticking to it!

24 Oct 2026 19:13:10
I agree with you there Elvis mate, not changing the Team around and constantly playing out of form players will be his downfall, best all round quicker he's gone the better mate.

24 Oct 2026 20:49:47
He won't be gone any earlier than the end of his contract. There is no logic to TFG paying out compo when they want to sell. They are not for spending we can see that, so getting a new coach will be the most unlikely outcome in my opinion.

25 Oct 2026 11:11:27
We need wins in sufficient quantity, Ace, and unless this starts to happen soon, this playing for a draw and getting the occasional win will mean we will have short betting odds on getting the drop sooner than later.
TFG want someone to pay for a PL club.

24 Oct 2026 18:37:01
I reckon the next three games will decide where we end up.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Oct 2026 18:39:22
And with that i'm done.

24 Oct 2026 20:54:08
No GB they won't. It's too early to say. We won't even be 2 thirds through the season. We have a transfer window in January where we can perhaps improve matters.
Don't get me wrong I'm not too positive right now but no clubs fate has ever been decided after such few games.

25 Oct 2026 00:12:36
Will the owners be willing to spend in January though. Or will they gamble on us staying up.

24 Oct 2026 18:18:42
FFS 2nd best Team in the prem, a decent striker and we would have at least held our own. Moan moan moan. We will not get relegated we will finish top 10.

Agree4 Disagree0

24 Oct 2026 18:28:05
DMS you are deluded mate - sorry to say it - Brighton put 3 past them last week.

We haven't got a half decent striker as Moyes signed an absolute dud and plays him week in week out.

We are one dimensional and boring with no plan Back.

24 Oct 2026 19:48:39
Barry the flop is on Moyes; he knows it. That's why his name is first on the sheet.
Pure obstinacy and nothing to do with calculative decisions.

{Ed025's Note - listen guys i dont want anyone leaving because of the views of others, but you have to admit its not good, there are a few Moyes apologists out there and tend to be glass half full and thats fine by me, but i do think the consensus is that he is doing a poor job and this is not just on this site, some of his player choices are abysmal and baffling to say the least imo, although i would have preferred someone else to come in i was prepared to bite the bullet because i hoped he would take us to safety but im doubting that now i must admit, we dont have much about us and carry little threat and it seems every game is one of attrition, i so want us to do well and have always stood my corner with my Red mates but its getting harder to defend this team and the managers tactics, its a bit depressing because we all hoped the FSG takeover was the start of our salvation but now it seems that may be a white elephant which puts us back to square one, sorry for the rant but i had to get it off my chest..

24 Oct 2026 19:54:41
Sobs realistic not deluded. Been around a long time. We are probably amongst the most miserable moaning lot with most on here basing their knowledge on TV from couch, in the Prem.

24 Oct 2026 20:27:02
Perfectly rational ED imo, this is just a continuation of the previous season.
Winning is now an abnormality and not a reasonable assumption against any PL team. That is where we are, mate. Let's face it.

{Ed025's Note - i wish you were wrong PRH...but i dont think you are mate..

25 Oct 2026 00:17:54
I think we will stay up because as usual there will be three teams worse than us. But top ten not a chance.

25 Oct 2026 08:13:13
There's a hell of a long way to go until the end of the season, but my worry is that we have ten league games until the transfer window even opens and the way we have bought in the summer, with TFG wanting out as well. I worry what we'd even get in as reinforcements upfront.

Moyes needs a plan B and quickly upfront.

24 Oct 2026 18:18:06
TFG, want to sell, and make a profit. Selling a Premier League club, for their target range 80000, mill to a billion, might be possible, they would have a much bigger task selling a championship club, be lucky to get back what they have put in, so the imperative, for them, and us, is to make sure that does not happen.

All we can do is turn up and support, but if TFG, want to avoid that outcome, they will have to put their hands into their pocket, warm words from the mouth piece, Kinera, will not cut it.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Oct 2026 21:49:16
DMS people won't be moaning if played decent football where we played for a win - which should be a minimum start for any sporting team.
See you in 10yrs when we are exactly the same - stop accepting mediocrity - we have 3rd best paid manager in world football -.

24 Oct 2026 17:48:28
Most on here want Moyes out yet the pundits all like him. If he is to be sacked who will do it? I doubt the Friedkins.

B. Johnson 10 touches in 73 minutes 0.13 Touches Per Min
K. Dewsbury Hall 45 in 73 Minutes 0.61PM
J. Garner 57 in 98 minutes 0.58PM

T. Dibling 25 in 25 minutes 1PM
H. Hackney 21 in 25 minutes 0.84PM

I only checked this as genuinely couldn't recall a Johnson touch of the ball with his foot. Obviously was wrong.

The comparison directly comparing to Dibling. I know its not the most influential stat, but i like players who get on the ball and are involved. Dibling gets available and demands it. Desperate to see more of him, wouldn't mind if someone top level was ahead of him but isn't the case.

Same with Hackney, a lot of his touches are forward progressive passes trying to make things happen. Both these players want the ball and are not scared to take it under pressure.

I don't think Grealish did much better myself.

24 Oct 2026 17:25:19
I can't watch us anymore while DM is our manager, I just can't do it, I've got better things to do, at my age time goes to fast and I'm not wasting it watching a DM team. See you all again when we have a new manager.

24 Oct 2026 17:35:11
2 wins in 15 is relegation material.

24 Oct 2026 19:24:39
Feeling the same Skylark. It literally drains my happiness.

We're such a bad watch.

24 Oct 2026 17:15:47
I think it's time Moyes needs to go, he doesn't seem to have the players and lost them.
Jimmy garner is awful, Johnson non existent again.
Tiny squad but doesn't really matter, can't score, can't create, he's so scared of attacking.

We're flying to a relegation fight and I genuinely don't see a way out unless he attacks teams. Rather lose going for it than sit and lose.

We're slipping down the table.

24 Oct 2026 17:25:39
Bottom five by Christmas.

{Ed025's Note - its certainly looking that way BMD, some people need to be dropped, Garner was awful again, Johnson, Barry and Moyes as well...from a very tall building..

24 Oct 2026 17:42:24
Some people might argue that October is a bit early for Moyes to go, ED, when my reality tells me any longer could be a bit too late. The stagnation has begun, and the players look like rabbits in the headlights, mate.

{Ed025's Note - things went for us early doors Howe but now we have been found out mate, its graft graft graft and run around chasing the ball, no set up no system and no plan, pass the ball aimlessly and hope for a break, is the system we are playing and unless we get rid of the Dinosaur in the room we will be in a relegation battle..
