Tyler Dibling from Southampton latest to be linked 19 yr old winger.

Agree4 Disagree0

25 Jul 2025 17:06:45
Would be a top signing. List must be over 100 now GB.

25 Jul 2025 17:37:07
One reporter mentioned him Kubo and Grealish as possible signings. Don’t hedge your bets hey mate ?.

25 Jul 2025 17:54:53
With all these players the rags have linked us with we should only be 2 or 3 players behind Chelsea squad.

25 Jul 2025 18:26:05
Difference is they actually sign them.

25 Jul 2025 18:26:11
What is find worrying about this, is that if our top rw target was Concieciao from Porto, why did we not know he wanted Juventus 1st. And that Kubo would cost more than we were willing to pay.

It all seems so last minute, as much as I rate Tyler Dibling, surely they aren't going to sell him for cheap, so then who do we go for?

Feels like we are waiting on certain targets without moving on to others when its too expensive or the player doesn't even want the move in the first place.

Generally i try not to get caught up in the hysteria of the transfer window, but seriously, get some players already. Is Tom Fellows that bad that he doesn't improve our first team and our army of right wingers?

25 Jul 2025 19:38:17
Well Lino is off the list he's off to Brazi and Flanengo.

25 Jul 2025 19:53:28
Tyler Dibling, Tom Fellows come on Moysey get some signings.

25 Jul 2025 20:03:43
Dibling is so overrated. three times as many yellow cards last season as goals and assists combined I think. Fellows for me done a lot more at a good standard in a bang average team but the moyseiah will have a plan. In Moyes we trust don’t believe all the bull click bait rumours 99% will be absolute rubbish.

25 Jul 2025 21:22:28
Ed 025 is there any hope or any other ed can find out what players we actually are after or even what positions we will get all this click bait rubbish doing my nut in surly are club and scouts should have a plan in place where if we are after a RW we should have a top target for the RW role then if he doesn't want to join there's others who have been identified for that position and we can put a bid in for them if the 1st choice doesn't want join everton.

{Ed025's Note - im afraid this is the Everton way Andy, have you ever known us to move early for a player or even announced that we are in for one mate?, we keep our cards close to our chest and people can guess as much as they like but it will never change, when you see a guy with a pen in his hand and a royal blue shirt at Finch farm then believe it is happening, i know its frustrating and when you see the promoted teams signing some top players while we twiddle our thumbs i must admit it cracks me up, but lets see what transpires over the next few weeks and if we have not done any or little business then that is the time to moan...and if that is the case i can assure you i will be at the front of the queue..

25 Jul 2025 21:48:48
We will all push you in the everton headquarters mate if needed jokes aside you are right with it being slow recruitment ps do you know any current news on if we have put a bid in for anyone don't have to mention names be much appreciated matey ?.

{Ed025's Note - i am in the dark as much as you Andy, every man and his dog is being linked mate but i dont know of any confirmed bids or even that we have approached a player his agent or his club, obviously we will have targets but i feel we are waiting for the domino effect to kick in where a team buys a player then one has to leave, not a great business model if you ask me but it is what it is and the people who make those decisions may pay with their jobs if things go tits up..

He is overrated because he gets yellow cards? That makes no sense whatsoever. Guess Keane and Vieira were too ey.

The lad has bags of ability and the physical capability to handle the PL already.

He was playing in by far the worst team in the league and still showed enough to interest the big sides in a potential move. If his price tag wasn't so high, you can be sure one of them would have been in for him.

Fellows has done more at a worse standard. The PL may as well be a different sport to the Championship.

When the dust settles on both of their careers you can be sure that Dibling will have achieved more and reached a higher level.

It will go tit's up if so but I think it was always the plan and obviously so after the last regimes reckless handling of money. Sure it's great to make big signings early but you pay through the nose for it. Seems some clubs like our neighbours are busy but in truth, very little has been done as a whole epl window so far. Guaranteed lots have been approached and lots have shown interest and lots have made it obvious they're aiming higher. It's definitely a game of who blinks first this window. I expect 6 in plus some loans but it won't happen until last week. Whoever we get will have cost us considerably more earlier on. I'm glad the kid in a sweetie shop days are over. Does make the rumour sites very tedious but hopefully next summer things will be a little more entertaining. I'll take it to get it right.

We will see BN. You say big clubs interested but no one has moved for him so how do you know it’s not paper talk? My point is he is a winger who played over 30 games with no end product as proven last season. He could well improve but hasn’t done anything to justify this supposed huge fee. The championship may not be as good as the prem but plenty of players have made the step up easily and fellows stats would suggest to me he has a better chance than most. Again its just stats and you could be right that he doesn’t have the same career as dibling but that is down to luck and what clubs they join. It’s a game of opinions and I would prefer fellows at the prices less of a gamble who has done more at this point in time. You prefer dibling.

26 Jul 2025 10:52:52
Southampton will be asking silly money, and that’ll be putting people off. At a reasonable price he’d be a good signing.

26 Jul 2025 10:58:56
Tyler Dibling would be an Excellent addition but we aren’t in a position to spend that much money on one player. I think if and when he moves on it will be to one of ‘the power five’. I’m in agreement with BN, imo this kid will go on to be one of the best players in the league.

26 Jul 2025 11:12:18
Tyler dibling would be a good buy but last time I looked Southampton wanted 80 mil which let's be realistic he's not even worth more than 40 million but yeah let's see.

26 Jul 2025 17:48:17
I said big clubs are interested but will be put off by the asking price and rightly so. He has not done anywhere near enough to warrant 50-70 million. Big clubs also buy for the here and now. The top players in the world currently e. g. Wirtz, Cherki, Zubamendi.

That being said, it is evident that the lad has the ability to go on and forge a successful career out in the PL. He already has the physicality to cope with the demands and he is only going to get better. He is 19 years old and has just played a full season in the PL. That in itself is impressive.

You say he was playing winger with no end product but he was playing for Southampton. It is the same story with El Khannouss at Leicester. If you are creating chances but the players can't stick them away, it paints a different picture. He was playing for the worst team in the league by some way, stick him in with better players around him and you will see his performance levels go up.

He is also more versatile than just a winger and was utilised in various positions last season which is another strength of his.
