MOYES OUT!

That was a really good performance tonight. McNeill played well and Gana needs another to be offered another year in my opinion.

No, I think Gueye doesn't have another season in him at this level. McNeil will be off in the summer. Moyes has Dibling earmarked for next season.

Fair play to Jordan Pickford with another top class save tonight to keep that clean sheet. He barely had anything to do in the game so that really does say a lot for his concentration levels, which was perhaps are part of his game that was called into question in the past. Those days seem an eternity away now.

I can't think of any keeper that has made the level of saves that he has in the league this season on a number of occasions.

Shout out to Beto tonight as well, thought he did much better at holding the ball up and bringing others into play. He even span two players in the 2nd half in our box to win a foul and take any pressure off.

Idrissa seemed to have a little bit more about him going forward tonight, similar to how he has played for Senegal in recent years. Seemed to move the ball a lot better and was so unlucky with that strike that cannoned off the woodwork.

Garner, no point in really commenting on his level anymore, as it has stayed so consistently high for as long as I can remember.

Iroegbunam showed a good attitude when he came on. If he had Garners footballing brain he would be some player as the lad is a phsyical beast.

Lastly, it is so good to see JB back in the team. He is levels above anything we have and it just makes me think where we perhaps could have been in the table had we had him for a full season. He is not a kid anymore so hopefully his body has matured and grown into itself which will put a stop to the niggly injuries.

Arsenal will not be looking forward to us coming to the Emirates with all the pressure on them that is for sure.

Big shout out for Mycolenko. I thought he had a really good game. Massive shout for Dwight McNeil, overall probably one of the best on the pitch last night, and getting back to the form he had last season.

He must have had some mental confidence or health issues for his sudden drop in his performance levels. Hopefully that is behind him now, and he can look forward to the remaining games. Genuine person for sure.

Mykolenko is Ukrainian, there is a clue. Most of us don't care, as long as a situation only involves us alone, but when your family come into it, the pressure is horrendous. Fair play to the lad. To be honest, (opinions) , I have never seen our LB as a problem position.

Thought Beto did his job as well. My eyesight isn't brill, and our stadium is massive. He needs to calm down a bit, trying too hard, heart on sleeve moments.

What an amazing performance from every player, well done, and DM also on a side note KDH make the world cup maybe.

Wouldn't say amazing, but I get your drift. You can only beat what is in front of you, and against a poor Burnley we did it well.

Pleasing to see the players move the ball more quickly, with a bit of confidence. A good striker away from a drubbing tonight. Not the best opposition of course, but a good confidence boost.

I went to Goodison Park with my father at 6 years of age. When I was old enough which was about 12 I went to almost every home game and many away games for many years, paid for by myself with my paper delivery money. Then when I got married and move firstly to Manchester and then Leeds, even then when I only had a motor bike I would travel over to watch a game.
So I have every respect for those who go to the game and pay hard earned money and believe that they have every right to express an opinion.

I might not agree 100% with there comments but get totally pissed off when those TV experts who feel obliged to make derogatory comments for every post. Please just give it a rest, we know what your opinion is so don't feel the need to continually ram it down our throats.
On a brighter note we should at long last get a home win tonight, by a substantial score.

I really hope so, Mike. Tough run after this game. 3 points is a must, however it comes.

Got to say I completely disagree with you there, Mike.

Sorry couldn't resist!. 🤣

2-0, so BlueMike got his wish. Need your bike at this ground, mate, to get back to the car.

Reading that we have been linked to Alexander Sorloth, experience Norwegian Striker, providing he's not carrying any serious chronic injuries then this would be an excellent signing, just the type we need, he's style, knowledge would also be helpful for our younger strikers to learn from.

If he does come, let us just hope that the Crystal Palace version doesn't turn up, mate. 0 goals and then sold. Would certainly suit our club.

Isn't he in his 30's or am I thinking of someone else?

Just been watching some Ndiaye footage, for me the most exciting player we've had in years,
Some of the best trickery skills i think I've ever seen for Everton,
(1980 onwards) .
His work rate is on point pretty much every game as well.
Hope he stays for many years.

03 Mar 2026 08:08:24
We had a guy named Duncan McKenzie, a very similar type of player. Duncan could jump over minis as well, let's see Ndiaye do that. 😂

And a manager in the same mould as Moyes, who preferred Jim Pearson.

Anyone else think we might have made a mistake letting Chermiti go to Rangers? he's banging them in for fun up there and in spectacular fashion. Maybe he's found his level, but he's certainly found his shooting boots.

Think he wouldn't make it in the Prem.

The mistake was not sending him on more loans to build his asking price.

It's almost a Sunday morning pub league, so, yes, he looks good. At that level, most Premiership players would shine.
