Too much respect govern in the first half, to a petty average side. They have rode their luck all season, and again, but it will catch up with then, and so will Arsenal.

To much respect 1st half, maybe. But dude they ain't a pretty ave side. Good game, shame about the result but at 2-0 I feared the worst. 2nd half performance was very good. We will have a good season.

Disagree. Think they are a very good side and we gave it a go! Last few years our side would’ve lost 4/ 5-0 after being 2 down at Anfield after 1/ 2 hour. Pulled one back and kept pushing, . Difference today was the quality finishing they had.

First 20 mins was always going to be a test, we just sat back a bit too much and invited the pressure. Fair play, we rallied for the 2nd half and showed we can give most teams a game. They are a good team, no matter how painful that is to admit, far from average. With a proper, decent CF, we will be fine.

Agree bluepotato. Past few seasons I've had a fear of dread playing the top teams. But this season it looks like we going to have a go at anyone, home or away.

We just got our tactics wrong first half. Went back to playing hoofball. Really don’t need to do that anymore.

LFC fan I peace. I like reading all the sites to see what's going on, I have to chime in on the above average side non sense. I seem to recall people saying UTD had the sign of a champion not playing their best but finding a way to win.

Liverpool are a very good side, obviously. Quality throughout. Any sane Everton fan should be encouraged that we gave them a good game, dominated the second half, and came back when we would have buckled in previous seasons. All positive for me, onwards and upwards.
