He has been to Germany for talks but I think if he where going to sign there would have been progress. Think he holding out for Forest, but wouldn't mind if he chose Blue.

I think in the current market it is a fair price tbh BMD.
Give him trust and 90 mins week in week out and I think he gets anywhere around 7-10 goals and 7-10 assists, which would represent a massive improvement for us.
Taking into account he has already experienced a full season in the harsh environment of the championship and then played with the quality of players and staff at City, I think it would represent great business.
Covers multiple positions - 8, 10, RW, LW. 22 years of age.
Can't see why he would want Forest over us tbh. Elanga gone, MGW possibly going. Wood nearing the end of his career. They haven't made any credible signings yet. I get that they are in Europe but they will be out pretty early imo. Longevity wise, I think we represent the smarter move tbh.

Just don't think he is interested to be honest. Hard to know what's true, but hanging on hopes on signing someone who is waiting for a better offer never ends well.
As far why would he choose forest over us, I guess I'd ask why would he choose us over forest?
I'm sure we will get some good players in, but I'm definitely tempering my expectations to just small improvements at the moment.

Our neighbours will also be paying bigger wages than we can afford. Believe it or not money is still a big attraction.

EFC ONE, with regards to choosing us over Forest.
- Better fans.
- Better stadium.
- Better City.
- More established PL side.
- Better manager.
- His Great Uncle is an Everton legend.
The only things Forest have over us is European football, which won't last and the fact they have won European Cups.
If they lose MGW this window, I think we arguably have a better team. If you add McAtee into our 10 spot, he will improve us a lot.
Whether he comes or not, there are plenty of decent footballers out there to choose from.
