Evan Ferguson whilst young and has potential has shown nothing to warrant a price tag of £28m.
He unfortunately appears to be made of weetabix and has spent more minutes in the physio and treatment rooms than on the pitch - something like 338 minutes played last season and just under 1400 minutes the season before.
Cant see any team paying the price quoted.

I think they are just trying to recoup the money they spent on the Greek lad Kostoulas tbh.
It is a shame with Ferguson. Had this been 2023 summer time, I would have bit your hand off for him. Lad showed great ability and was scoring goals.
Hopefully he can get over his injuries when he has fully developed into his frame and kick on.

I would take him on loan with option to buy. if this Barry lad is like beto then like someone said in an earlier post we need something different up top in different games wether he was to start or be on the bench. can't see beto staying though if he ends up back on the bench either.

The one tonic about Betos last few months was he found himself again and got his name on the commentators lips for the right reason. Wouldn't have done any harm to what was a dwindling negative equity in value and for the levels of interest he must have from clubs around Europe and lower Premier League teams. If the money looks right I can see DM green lighting bombing him out in a flash.

I pray this one’s a rumour and I may be wrong but it feels like a sideward step. He’d be ideal for one of the three coming up or even the championship imo.
